Because Six Flags is a family park we expect guests to behave appropriately. Violating our park policies may be cause for ejection from the park without refund. For more information please review the park policies below.
Pets are not permitted in the park. Trained service animals are welcome at our Six Flags Theme Parks. Service animals are defined as dogs and small ponies that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.
We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Line jumping, profanity and unruly behavior are offensive to park guests and may be cause for ejection without refund. Guests are not permitted to save places in line, bypass others in line or exit the line and return to the same place for any reason. Guests exiting a line must go to the back of the line if they choose to return.
In keeping with our family-friendly environment and for safety reasons, Six Flags enforces a dress code. Proper attire must be worn in the park at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear.
Tattoos or clothing with offensive language or graphics are not permitted at any time. Examples of clothing not permitting are those which display:
- Graphic Violence
- Support of drugs or drug use
- Gang symbols
- Promoting discrimination against any group
An image of an assault rifle or handgun does not, by itself, rise to the level of graphic violence.
Bathing suits may be worn only in water park areas. Park admission may be denied if clothing or tattoos are deemed to be inappropriate by management and the guest refuses all reasonable options. Shirts cannot be turned inside out as a solution.
Please walk at all times. Do not sit or stand on fences or railings.
Guests using profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures may be ejected from the park without refund.
Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason. Violators will be ejected without a refund.
Loose articles are not permitted on most rides. Cell phones, keys, or other small items must be secured in cargo pockets, zippered pockets, or waist packs. All loose articles which cannot be secured must be left in a locker or with a non-rider prior to entering to queue line. Six Flags and its employees are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Items lost on rides will not be retrieved during park operating hours and often times may not be located. Loose articles of any kind (including but not limited to purses, backpacks, and beverage containers) may not be taken past the queue entrance and cannot be left on the load/unload platform of the following rides: SUPERMAN The Ride; BATMAN: The Dark Knight; Mind Eraser and Fireball. Guests observed on a ride with electronic devices will be immediately ejected from the park, and served with a five year trespass.
PARK POLICY COMPLIANCE
In addition to the Six Flags Guest Code of Conduct, guests are required to comply with all local, state and federal laws, as well as individual park policies, rules and instructions posted or otherwise listed.
The following items are not permitted at any time:
- Food/coolers (except special diet and infant food)
- Alcoholic beverages
- Lawn/folding chairs
- Magic markers, spray paint
- Aerosol cans
- Glass bottles
- Spiked clothing/jewelry
- Chemical weapons, mace/pepper spray
- Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar devices
- Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)
Also note, open-flame cooking is not allowed at any time in our parking lots.
By entering the park, guests grant Six Flags the right to film, video, record or photograph them on park property for any reason without payment or consideration. Six Flags requests that all photographs or video taken by our guests be used for their personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Six Flags is strictly prohibited. Six Flags reserves the right to refuse to allow photography of any kind as necessary at individual locations. No commercial photography of any kind is permitted. Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted:
- Go Pro cameras
- Lenses greater than three-and-one-half inches in length
- Interchangeable lenses of any kind
- Any camera mounted to a vehicle, drone, cart, scooter or other moving object
- No cameras (video, still, cell-phone, smart phones, etc.) are allowed on any rides at any time. No exceptions.
All Six Flags rides, shows and attractions are protected by copyright. Guests must have written permission to use photographs and/or videotape of Six Flags images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing or publishing in any medium.
To leave the park and re-enter on the same day, please get your hand stamped and re-enter at any entry gate or re-entry gate. This includes Season Pass Holders as they are only valid to scan per day. Note: Fright Fest re-entry is limited.
Entering restricted areas, including ride and backstage areas, is strictly prohibited. Guests found entering restricted areas may be ejected from the park without refund.
Safety is our number-one priority. Guests with certain body proportions or of certain heights and/or weights may not be able to enjoy certain rides if the safety restraints will not operate as designed. Specific ride information is available at the ride and at Guest Relations.
There is an inherent risk in participating in any amusement ride. We expect riders to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner. Guests must also obey all oral and written warnings, and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Guests who do not comply with ride rules may be ejected from the park without refund. Please refer to specific guidelines posted at the entrance of every ride.
All guests entering the park will go through metal detectors, so please plan accordingly. Security will confiscate any item that is prohibited by Massachusetts General Law or statute, or in violation of Federal Laws and Regulations. All items will be turned over to the Agawam Police Department for investigation.
SELFIE STICKS, MONOPODS, & SIMILAR DEVICES
Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar devices are not allowed inside Six Flags parks.
Smoking, which includes e-cigarettes, is permitted only in the designated smoking areas. These areas are specifically marked and can be found in the following areas: Outside the main gate near the pedestrian bridge, behind the Carousel near the entrance of Whistlestop Park, next to Goliath across from Leather Treaty, near the Mind Scrambler, near the exit of Blizzard River, near the Hall of Justice, behind Candy Cabin, near the exit of Mind Eraser, across from the South End Restrooms, at Wahoo’s Tiki Bar (Hurricane Harbor), and near Cowabunga Burgers patio (Hurricane Harbor). All other areas in the parks are smoke-free and smoking is strictly prohibited. Underage smoking is not permitted. Failure to use the smoking areas will result in immediate expulsion from the park without a refund.
UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES (UAVs)
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, Six Flags prohibits the operation or use of any unmanned aerial vehicle on, from, or above Six Flags’ premises absent specific written consent. This includes all UAVs, also commonly known as “drones,” regardless of their size, weight or purpose.
The Park contains all types of activities, many of which are not dependent upon good weather. Some rides and shows will close temporarily during electrical storms, heavy rains, high winds and other severe weahter conditions. These attractions will re-open when conditions permit safe operation. Many restaurants and shops will remain open. If the weather causes a majority of our rides to close for one consecutive hour, our park will offer a complimentary return pass throug the Weather Guarantee Program.
