Gruene Historic District: Gruene (pronounced "green") is a beautifully preserved historic district within New Braunfels. It features quaint shops, restaurants, and a historic dance hall that hosts live music events. Strolling through the district feels like stepping back in time.

Guadalupe and Comal Rivers: The city is blessed with two beautiful rivers, the Guadalupe and Comal. Visitors can enjoy activities like tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the rivers, which provide a refreshing escape and breathtaking scenery.

Natural Bridge Caverns: Just outside New Braunfels, you'll find the Natural Bridge Caverns, a magnificent underground cave system. Guided tours take you through the stunning chambers, where you can witness remarkable formations and learn about the caves' geology and history.

Historic Sites: New Braunfels has a rich German heritage, and you can explore it by visiting the Sophienburg Museum and Archives, which tells the story of the city's founding. Additionally, the Conservation Plaza showcases historic buildings and artifacts from the region's early settlers.

Landa Park: This picturesque park stretches over 51 acres and offers picnic areas, walking trails, a mini-golf course, paddleboats on the lake, and a miniature train ride for children. It's a great place for families to spend a day outdoors.

Early Entry

Guests of The Resort at Schlitterbahn who stay Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend receive Early Entry one hour prior to park opening. Select rides in Blastenhoff are open during Early Entry, including:
