World's Largest Swim Lesson

Thursday, June 26 at 8:30 AM

Carolina Harbor Waterpark at Carowinds will participate in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) on Thursday, June 26. This 26-acre water park will join hundreds of water parks, aquatic centers, and swim schools worldwide to offer simultaneous water-safety instruction as part of the 15th annual event.

The lesson is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in Surf Club Harbor, our 27,000-square-foot wave pool. In partnership with the World Waterpark Association, WLSL aims to raise awareness about swimming as a vital life-saving skill and prevent drowning.

Learning to swim is the foundation for staying safe in, on, and around the water. If your child has not participated in formal swim lessons, consider signing up today.

Event Details:

  • A free 30-minute lesson will be provided, and admission to Carowinds will be free on the day of the lesson.
  • A participant's parent, guardian, or companion can purchase one discounted admission ticket to Carowinds.
  • Due to capacity limitations, availability is on a first-come, first-served basis based on registered guests.
  • Registration is required, and further details will be provided upon confirmation.

Thank you for your interest in the World's Largest Swim Lesson event. We look forward to contributing to a safer environment by teaching essential swimming skills to the community. Join us in making a splash in water safety education!
