Meteorology Day
Meteorology Day
Friday, May 14, 2027
Meteorology Day at Carowinds offers educators a powerful, real‑world extension of classroom learning as students explore the science of weather alongside WCNC Chief Meteorologist Brad Panovich and other leading atmospheric experts. Through engaging demonstrations, hands‑on experiments, and clear explanations of forecasting technology, students gain a deeper understanding of concepts they study in class—such as storm formation, severe‑weather safety, and data‑driven prediction.
It’s an enriching STEAM experience designed to support your curriculum, spark student curiosity, and connect scientific principles to the professionals who use them every day.
