Bakunawa's Wrath

Before guests take on the record-breaking thrills of Bakunawa, they can get their first taste of the legend with a brand-new limited-edition cocktail.

Six Flags Great Adventure has teamed up with New Jersey-based Shipwreck Rum to introduce Bakunawa’s Wrath, a specialty beverage inspired by the park’s highly anticipated new roller coaster, Bakunawa. Available exclusively at Sea Gulps beginning October 9, this vibrant cocktail offers fans an exciting preview of the themed experiences that will accompany the coaster when it officially debuts.

Bakunawa's Wrath

Created through a partnership between two New Jersey brands, Bakunawa’s Wrath blends Shipwreck White Rum, Shipwreck Lime Rum, Blue Curaçao, grenadine, lemonade, and club soda to create a striking purple drink worthy of its legendary namesake. The cocktail is topped with a green gummy serpent garnish, a playful tribute to the mythical creature that inspired Bakunawa’s story.

This limited-run release is more than just a specialty beverage. It serves as a sneak peek at a signature drink experience that will return in 2027 as part of the full Bakunawa attraction experience. For coaster enthusiasts and fans following the coaster’s development, it is a unique opportunity to celebrate the arrival of the park’s newest attraction before the first train ever leaves the station.

The collaboration also highlights the shared New Jersey roots of both Six Flags Great Adventure and Shipwreck Rum. Based in Atlantic Highlands, Shipwreck Rum has built a reputation for its handcrafted spirits and connection to the Garden State’s rich maritime history. Together, the two brands have created a one-of-a-kind offering that combines local flavor with theme park excitement.

Bakunawa’s Wrath will be available for one weekend only while supplies last, making it a must-try for guests looking to experience the excitement surrounding Bakunawa before its grand debut.
