Tiger Cubs
Introducing the newest animal ambassadors, tiger cubs Nalani and Baldr! A Snow-White Bengal with barely visible stripes and crystal blue eyes, Nalani gives a serene presence while living up to her name which means calm skies. Baldr, which means “son of Odin”, a Royal White Bengal with bold black stripes and striking blue eyes, pays homage to the park’s previously well-known Royal White Bengal Tiger, Odin. Visit the two tiger cubs by Sidewinder Safari as they help bring awareness to their counterparts in the wild.
Nalani and Baldr were born in November 2025 about two weeks apart and have quickly become a guest favorite! The white Bengal tigers came to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom as ambassadors for their wild counterparts to help educate guests of the critical need for tiger conservation. The rare, but naturally occurring, white coloration comes from recessive genes, not unlike blonde hair and blue eyes in humans. This playful duo loves to wrestle each other, chase their toys, and interact with their caretakers who continually build a positive relationship with them as they grow. Check in with one of our Explorer Guides or Animal Care Specialists to find out where you can see Nalani and Baldr, watch them play, and learn about tigers and tiger conservation.
Discovery Kingdom is a professionally accredited and certified animal care facility maintaining and exceeding complex and individualized standards of care and welfare that are mandated by the American Humane Association (AHA), the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA), and the Zoological Association of America (ZAA). The park is also strictly regulated by the State of California Fish and Wildlife and by the federal government, under the USDA, APHIS, and NOAA.
