When the sun goes down, the screams begin. Fright Fest returns, September 12 – November 1, to Six Flags Over Georgia with terrifying, haunted attractions, immersive scare zones, live entertainment, seasonal food and drinks, and thrilling nighttime rides.

Whether you're visiting for the scares, nighttime rides on coasters, or the spooky fall atmosphere, this guide will help you plan your visit and make the most of one of Georgia's premier Halloween events.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review the following policies before arriving at the park.
The Six Flags Chaperone Policy remains in effect during Fright Fest. Guests are encouraged to review the policy prior to their visit.
To support the safety and flow of park operations during Fright Fest, guests who exit the park after 7:00 PM will not be permitted to re-enter the park on the same day. Re-entry wristbands are not issued within one hour and thirty minutes of the re-entry cutoff. This no re-entry policy is in effect during all Fright Fest dates. Guests are encouraged to plan accordingly before exiting the park after the policy is in effect.
Costumes, costume masks, face coverings, SFX makeup, or any attire intended to conceal a guest's identity are prohibited during Fright Fest. Guests wearing prohibited attire may be denied entry or removed from the park without refund.
Additional policies, including guest conduct expectations and haunted maze filming restrictions, are available on our Park Policies page. We encourage all guests to review these policies before visiting to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Looking for the ultimate Fright Fest experience?
Guests must purchase a Haunted Attractions Pass to access our five premium haunted mazes. All other Fright Fest experiences, including scare zones, live entertainment, and nighttime rides, are included with park admission.
Guests who want to maximize their evening should consider a Haunted Attractions Express Pass for expedited access to haunted mazes.
If you're searching for haunted houses in Atlanta or immersive horror experiences in Georgia, Fright Fest features five premium haunted mazes, two of which are inspired by some of the biggest names in horror entertainment.
These professionally themed haunted attractions combine cinematic storytelling, detailed sets, special effects, and terrifying live actors to create one of the most intense Halloween experiences in the Southeast.

Please note: Haunted Mazes are a separately ticketed experience and are not included with park admission. For access, purchase a Haunted Attractions Pass.
The terror doesn't stop at the haunted mazes. Unlike traditional haunted houses, Fright Fest brings the scares directly into the park through immersive scare zones where monsters roam freely throughout the night.
As you explore Six Flags Over Georgia this fall, you'll encounter twisted carnivals, sinister cults, and horrifying surprises. These scare zones help make Fright Fest one of the most immersive Halloween events near Atlanta.
Featured scare zones include:
Keep your eyes open. You never know what may be lurking around the next corner.
One of the things that makes Fright Fest unique among Atlanta Halloween attractions is the opportunity to experience world-class roller coasters after dark.
Take on iconic rides like Goliath, Georgia Scorcher, and Dare Devil Dive surrounded by fog, dramatic lighting, and the eerie atmosphere of Halloween. For many guests, nighttime rides are just as memorable as the haunted attractions themselves.
If you're looking for thrilling things to do in Atlanta during the fall season, Fright Fest offers a one-of-a-kind combination of roller coasters and horror experiences.
Important: Kid-friendly attractions in Bugs Bunny BoomTown and DC Super Friends close nightly at 7:00 PM and do not operate during Fright Fest.

From opening ceremonies to undead dance parties, Fright Fest entertainment keeps the energy high all night long.
