As fall gives way to the holiday season, Six Flags Great Adventure is offering guests a few special reasons to visit this November. From the final chance to experience Wild Safari in 2026 to a weekend honoring military service members and veterans, the park is packing plenty into the weeks before Holiday in the Park begins.

Last Chance to Visit Wild Safari Until 2027

One of the biggest milestones of the month arrives on November 8, when Wild Safari concludes its 2026 season. Home to more than 1,200 animals from around the world, the drive-through wildlife experience offers a unique opportunity to see some of the park's most incredible residents surrounded by the colors of autumn. Guests hoping to visit the safari before its 2027 reopening will want to plan a trip before the season ends.

An Extra Long Weekend of Fall Fun

Families will also have an extra opportunity to visit the park during the New Jersey teachers convention weekend, as Six Flags Great Adventure operates November 5 through 8. It is the perfect time to enjoy a day at the park before the holiday festivities begin later in the month. While several major attractions have already closed for the season, Jersey Devil Coaster will continue operating through November 15.

Honoring Those Who Serve

The following weekend, November 14 and 15, Six Flags Great Adventure will host its Veterans Day Military Appreciation Weekend. Active-duty military members, veterans, and retired service members can receive one complimentary admission ticket by presenting valid military identification or proof of veteran status at the front gate. The celebration will feature patriotic character appearances, a Color Guard flag presentation, a tribute-themed Giant Wheel light show, and special recognition for local heroes and military team members.
