Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom has earned international recognition for both ride safety and aquatics performance ahead of the 2026 season.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom continues to set the standard for operational excellence, earning international recognition for both ride safety and aquatics performance ahead of the 2026 season.

At the 2026 Safety Conference hosted by International Ride Training LLC (IRT), Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom received the iROC Audit Excellence Award (Large Facility) — an honor recognizing top audit performance among leading amusement facilities.

The award celebrates exceptional performance during the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) Audit, which evaluates parks across ten critical components of ride operator safety, including procedures, training, communication, and operational consistency.

On the waterpark side of the property, the park’s Wildwater Kingdom team achieved a 2025 Platinum International Aquatic Safety Award from Ellis & Associates.

The Platinum designation is awarded to only the top 10 percent of Ellis-audited facilities worldwide, recognizing exceptional performance in lifeguard training, risk management practices, and aquatic safety standards.

“These recognitions underscore the discipline, preparation, and accountability our team demonstrates every day,” said Kim Solis, Park Manager of Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. “Safety and operational excellence are foundational to the guest experience we deliver.”

Together, the honors highlight the park’s commitment to rigorous training programs, strong leadership development, and consistent operational performance across both ride operations and aquatic attractions.
