  • Buy tickets and parking online — skip the lines right off the bat and buy your tickets online (plus, they are cheaper than buying them in-person!).
  • Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early — by arriving at least 30 minutes before the park opens, you get a chance at better parking, be one of the first through security lines, and get a good spot for rope drop when the park opens.
  • Download the Six Flags app on the app you can see wait times for rides, menus for food locations, show times for live entertainment, and even use it as an in-park GPS! It is a handy tool to have when you are going around the park.

Once the ropes drop, all rides are fair game with little to no wait times. Head over to the Texas section of the park and start your day off strong with these fan-favorite rides:

  • El Aserradero (log flume) — this isa great way to start the day. The log flume is a smaller water ride with twists and turns, and even some big drops to work your way up to the larger rides.
  • New Texas Giant — a classic wooden and steel coaster that is a park staple and fan-favorite. It’s one of our most popular attractions, so it's best to catch it in the morning!
  • Titan — this hyper coaster will get your heart rate up to start the morning. Featuring a 245-foot-tall drop and speeds of up to 85 miles an hour, if you can conquer Titan, you can conquer anything!

As temperatures rise and crowds peak, midday is the perfect time to prioritize lunch, indoor attractions and live entertainment. Wait times tend to climb during this time, so flexibility is key:
