Six Flags Friends is a series of programs throughout the Six Flags family of parks that makes a difference in communities by encouraging local involvement, supporting the mission of various non-profit organizations and bringing the thrill of Six Flags to children and families across North America. Six Flags Friends is a proud supporter of hundreds of organizations throughout our Six Flags communities. Through our national partnerships, we successfully utilize our geographic span to make a difference as a unified family of parks. 

Six Flags White Water is also pleased to support the work of organizations that make an impact in our surrounding neighborhoods. It is the work of the organizations below that truly make our cities a better place to live, work and enjoy.

MUST Ministries

MUST Ministries is a powerful, volunteer-driven organization that addresses the basic needs of individuals, families and children with facilities in Cobb and Cherokee counties. Six Flags White Water supports MUST Ministries with various donations throughout the year. For more information on MUST Ministries, visit mustministries.org.

Communities in Schools Marietta

Communities in Schools focuses on improving student and school success by providing needed support and services to students and schools. Their mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Six Flags White Water supports Communities in Schools Marietta through donation and volunteer efforts throughout the season. Give Kids The World Passport Program

Six Flags White Water has been a proud partner of Give Kids The World for more than a decade. The Give Kids The World Village is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Through the generous donation of admission tickets to the World Passport for Kids Program, children who have stayed at the Village are able to visit their favorite local theme park free of charge once they return home. Six Flags Friends has been a longtime member of the World Passport Program and each year welcomes thousands of children and their families for a day filled with fun. To redeem your Passport tickets, please bring your physical Passport to Guest Services on the day of your visit. Parking is not included.

Simple Needs Georgia

Simple Needs Georgia is a nonprofit organization in Marietta, Georgia dedicated to meeting the simple needs of children, people experiencing homelessness, and others in need while inspiring the community to do the same. Six Flags White Water supports Simple Needs Georgia through donation and volunteer efforts throughout the season. For more information on Simple Needs Georgia, visit simpleneedsgablog.com.

Sweetwater Mission

Since 1968, Sweetwater Mission has been an organization that stabilizes families by preventing hunger and homelessness while transforming lives through education and employment opportunities. Journey of Hope

Each year, Journey of Hope embarks on a 12,000 mile, cross-country trip from California to Washington DC to test their limits, spread disability awareness and celebrate the abilities of all people. Each season, White Water hosts Journey of Hope for a weekend of waterpark fun while also spreading the message of disability awareness. Cobb County Division of Family and Children’s Services

The Cobb County Division of Family & Children Services provides support services and innovative programs to help families and children in need in Cobb County. Six Flags White Water supports Cobb County Division of Family & Children Services through donation and volunteer efforts throughout the season. Cobb County Schools Foundation

The Cobb Schools Foundation is a non-profit organization established to support the needs of students across Cobb County. Six Flags White Water supports Cobb County Schools Foundation through donation and volunteer efforts throughout the season. Make-A-Wish-8-1-1

Make-a-Wish Foundation

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. Six Flags Over Georgia is proud to be a part of this amazing wish-granting organization and is excited to fulfill the wishes of children who dream of visiting the park. Ticket Donations

The mission of Six Flags Friends is to deliver smiles and thrills to children and families across North America, from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Six Flags White Water is pleased to assist qualified Georgia non-profit organizations with their fundraising efforts with a once a year donation. Six Flags White Water prides itself on being involved in the community by helping local public non-profit organizations through in-kind donations of tickets.

Goodr

In 2021, Six Flags Over Georgia became the first US theme park to partner with Goodr, a food recovery and distribution company. Goodr’s triple-win solution to the problem of food waste vs hunger paired with their recovery and distribution logistics benefit the community, the environment and the bottom line. With local communities experiencing food insecurity, the park is able to continue its efforts to reduce food waste and increase sustainability. For more information on Goodr, visit www.goodr.co.

MUST Ministries

American Red Cross

American Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping the community be prepared to respond in emergencies. Six Flags Over Georgia hosts blood drives with the American Red Cross to assist with the growing demand for blood donations. For more information on the American Red Cross, visit www.redcross.org.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

The mission of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation is to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow through the philanthropic support of individual donors, charitable foundations and corporations. Northwest Family YMCA

Northwest Family YMCA is an association of volunteers, members, and staff serving the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
