Valleyscare Visitation Information

VALLEYSCARE SEPARATE TICKET AND ARRIVAL INFORMATION:

ValleyScare is a separately ticketed event. Purchase online to avoid more wait time at the park. Gold Passholders get unlimited visits to ValleyScare.

We highly recommend you arrive early! Guests should expect longer lines and wait times to get into the parking lot and the park if arriving after 7 pm due to the popularity of this event.

Friday Guests: Parking opens at 5:30 pm. The front gate opens at 6:15 pm. Guests who are under 21 years of age and/or are a chaperone bringing minors into the park should go to the main entrance line. From 7 pm-9 pm, guests over 21 (without minors) should go to the satellite entrance to the left of the main gate (under the Wild Thing curve). From 6:15-7 pm, guests who arrive early can enjoy rides in Route 76, food, beverages, and shopping.

Everyone over 15 MUST bring a physical, government-issued ID for age verification due to our Chaperone Policy. We will allow PHYSICAL Student ID only if presented alongside a matching name Birth Certificate with Seal. Chaperones MUST be in line with their minors upon arrival.

Saturday Guests: At 5:30 pm, all guests (season passholders and ticket holders alike) will enter at the satellite gate to the left of the main gate (under the Wild Thing curve) and will be able to enjoy our expanded holding zone prior to the event opening. After 6:30 pm, guests who are under 21 years of age and/or are a chaperone bringing minors into the park should go to the main entrance line. From 7 pm-9 pm, guests over 21 years of age should go to the satellite entrance to the left of the main gate (under the Wild Thing curve).

Guests who arrive early can enjoy Route 76 rides, early access to Cryptid Land and Seeded and Scorned, food, beverages, and shopping.

Both Nights:

Portable restrooms have been added to accommodate guests who are waiting in line to get into the park. Please ask an associate for directions if needed.

Follow the directions of our parking attendants to ensure smooth entry and avoid back-ups on the highway.

Line jumping and ‘chaperone shopping’ will NOT be tolerated. Please notify a security associate if you witness any of this happening.

CHAPERONE POLICY

All guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to, or remain in, the park for ValleyScare. The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests aged 15 or younger per day on Friday nights. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than five (5) guests aged 15 or younger per day on Saturday nights. Valleyfair reserves the right to alter this ratio at any time.

Guests 16 years or older may be asked to present a valid government-issued photo identification (Driver's license, state-issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park.

In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay. Guests aged 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Valleyfair ticket and season passholders.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior of their minor children. Appropriate behavior and supervision are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and is always expected. The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors. Parents/guardians may be held legally liable for all acts of the children under their care.

BAG POLICY

During ValleyScare, clear plastic bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” as well as non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5”x 8”x 2” are allowed. All bags are subject to search prior to entry.

VALLEYFAIR CODE OF CONDUCT

Valleyfair is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests. To help us fulfill our commitment, we ask that you honor this code of conduct.

The following behaviors or acts are not permitted at ValleyScare:

  • Re-entry is not permitted.
  • Carrying firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind and any other prohibited item. Valleyfair reserves the right to prohibit any items at their discretion.
  • Photography or video recording inside the haunted mazes.
  • Unsolicited photographing or video recording that disrupts a guest’s experience or interferes with park operations.
  • Unruly or disruptive behavior that interferes with guests’ enjoyment of the park, including running, the incitement of running, loitering in large groups, and blocking midways and exits.
  • Fighting or physical aggression of any kind, including verbal and physical assaults.
  • Acts or behavior that park management determines is a safety concern or that interrupts park operations or guests’ experience.
  • Harassing/threatening behavior, sexual misconduct, or lewd behavior, including inappropriate interaction with park guests or associates.
  • Offensive language or gestures.
  • Clothing with offensive language, obscene gestures/graphics, or nudity or clothing that does not sufficiently cover undergarments.
  • Intoxication or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior.
  • Smoking/Vaping is not permitted inside the park.
  • Entering restricted areas including but not limited to ride Danger Zones and behind-the-scenes areas.
  • Line Breaking- includes leaving and re-entering a line for any reason or place holding in line.
  • Theft of any kind.
  • Selling park tickets or soliciting and distributing literature not sponsored by the park.
  • Refusing to follow verbal or printed instructions or cooperate with park personnel or security.

THEMED ATTIRE

Costume masks, face paint, or costume attire are not allowed during ValleyScare. Guests may not enter wearing trench coats or flak jackets. Attire must not represent or resemble any official Park character, disrupt regular company operations, or potentially harm another guest or associate. Attire and accessories must meet Code of Conduct dress requirements and may not be offensive or violent and may not disrupt the general safety of guests or associates. Rides and attractions may also have additional restrictions on dress attire.

PERSONAL CONDUCT

Conduct deemed by Valleyfair to be inappropriate for the peace and good order of the park, guests, or associates, and which may adversely affect the safety of others is not permitted. Anyone who violates the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund.

Guests are encouraged to report any violations of the Guest Code of Conduct or suspicious activity to the nearest Valleyfair associate, Security associate, or text VFSAFE TO (952) 213-1923.

Valleyfair reserves the right to revise or modify this Code of Conduct with or without notice.
