Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a family park, so guests should behave accordingly. Violating our park policies may be cause for ejection from the park without refund. For more information, please review the park policies below.
NEW: Card Payments
Hurricane Harbor accepts card payments only at all locations including restaurants, retail stores, games, ticket windows, and parking toll booths. You can either pay for purchases using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or a debit card. Only have cash? You can convert your cash to a prepaid debit card at one of the multiple kiosks located throughout the park and anywhere in the U.S. where Visa is accepted. We highly encourage you to pre-purchase your parking, tickets, and more online before visiting the park.
Alcohol purchased in the park must be consumed at the location where purchased. Violations of this policy will be subject to ejection without refund. No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought into Six Flags Parks.
We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Line jumping, profanity and unruly behavior are offensive to park guests and may be cause for ejection without refund. Guests are not permitted to save places in line, bypass others in line, or exit the line and return to the same place for any reason. Guests exiting a line must go to the back of the line if they choose to return.
We ask that guests visiting Hurricane Harbor Phoenix (the “Waterpark”) dress appropriately for our family-friendly environment. Guests’ attire and tattoos must comply with Hurricane Harbor Phoenix Guest Dress Code.
To participate in Waterpark attractions while visiting Hurricane Harbor Phoenix, guests must wear proper swimwear, such as bathing suits or board shorts. Swimwear must be Family Friendly. For safety reasons and to prevent damage to our attractions, guests may not wear athletic attire, street clothing such as pants or denim shorts, or swimwear with buttons, snaps, rivets, zippers, buckles or belts. Rash guards and swim-style nylon shirts are generally permitted; however, guests should check attraction signage for specific restrictions.
Diaper-dependent guests are required to wear swim diapers or a diaper specifically designed for aquatics to participate in Waterpark attractions. Diapers must be changed in restroom changing stations only.
Guests are encouraged to wear footwear while walking throughout Hurricane Harbor Phoenix. Guests may wear water appropriate footwear on some attractions. Guests should check attraction signage for specific restrictions.
When leaving the Waterpark, guests must wear proper attire to enter Six Flags as bathing suits are only permitted in the Waterpark. Please refer to the Six Flags Guest Dress Code for guidance about appropriate attire when visiting Six Flags.
Hurricane Harbor Phoenix reserves the right to deny admission to or remove anyone wearing swim attire that does not comply with the Waterpark Guest Dress Code or wears clothing or displays a tattoo that poses a safety hazard, could detract from the experience of other guests, or fails to comply with Hurricane Harbor Phoenix Dress Code, if a guest refuses all reasonable options. Guests requiring special accommodations should speak to a member of the Public Safety management team upon arrival at the Waterpark.
Can I bring a cooler into the water park?
Coolers are NOT allowed for general entry. Only guests who purchase a Cabana or Shaded Beach Lounger, or Lounge Chair will be eligible to bring one (1) cooler into Hurricane Harbor Phoenix, for the day, for an additional fee at the ticket windows. Styrofoam coolers are prohibited.
What is the largest-sized cooler that can be brought inside the water park?
The maximum cooler size is 25″ length x 14″ height x 14″ width (48 quarts)
What items can be brought to the water park inside the cooler?
Sealed, unopened beverages that are non-alcoholic are allowed into the water park, inside the cooler, including ice (Beverages may not enter the water park separate from the cooler)
Food is allowed if all items fit inside the cooler
NO glass of any type, including bottles or dishes, can be brought inside the waterpark
Small plastic utensils the size of a normal fork, knife, and spoon, plus serving devices will be allowed
How will security monitor the contents of the cooler?
All coolers will be required to go through X-ray and are subject to physical search
It is the guest’s responsibility to maintain the security of the cooler at all times
Outside Food, Beverages, or Coolers
All guests may bring one (1) unopened bottle of water or an empty, refillable water bottle (maximum 2 liters) into the water park. Guests may refill their water bottles at the multiple water fountains located throughout the water park, including near the Main Entrance, Paradise Island, and River Restrooms.
Guests may not bring any other outside food, beverages, or coolers into the water park. The water park will accommodate guests with dietary and medical restrictions and will permit special food items, baby food, or formula into the water park provided they are in non-glass jars or bottles.
Food Allergies
Guests who suffer from sensitivities or life-threatening allergies may bring food into the park if they do not feel comfortable with the menu options available. In this case, the food must be limited to the individual with the allergy and may contain: two sealable sandwich bags (7×8 inches) and one snack to accommodate their visit (such as a piece of fruit, or a fruit bar, or a snack that fits in a sandwich bag). One small soft-sided cooler may be brought into the park to carry these items. No outside beverages are permitted. Please see Security at screening to receive a medical sticker.
For your safety, certain rides may need to close during electrical storms, heavy rain, high winds and other severe weather conditions. Most restaurants and shops will remain open. As soon as conditions permit safe operation, rides and attractions will re-open. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor does not issue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather.
Guests using profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures may be ejected from the park without refund.
Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason. Violators will be ejected without a refund.
Loose articles are not permitted on most rides and should be left with non-riders or secured in lockers. Six Flags and its employees are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of working service animals.
By entering the park, guests grant Six Flags the right to film, video, record or photograph them on park property for any reason without payment or consideration. Six Flags requests that all photographs or video taken by our guests be used for their personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Six Flags is strictly prohibited. Six Flags reserves the right to refuse to allow photography of any kind as necessary at individual locations. No commercial photography of any kind is permitted. Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted:
- Any camera mounted to a vehicle, drone, cart, scooter or other moving object
- No cameras (video, still, cell-phone, smart phones, etc.) are allowed on any rides at any time. No exceptions.
All Six Flags rides, shows and attractions are protected by copyright. Guests must have written permission to use photographs and/or videotape of Six Flags images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing or publishing in any medium.
The following items are not permitted at any time:
- Food/coolers (except special diet and infant food)
- Lawn/folding chairs
- Magic markers, spray paint
- Glass bottles
- Knives
- Spiked clothing/jewelry
- Fireworks/explosives
- Firearms/ammunition
- Chemical weapons, mace/pepper spray
- Unmanned ariel vehicles (drones)
- Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar devices
To leave the park and re-enter on the same day, please get your hand stamped and re-enter at the re-entry gate. This includes Season Pass holders. Season Passes can only be scanned once per day.
Safety is our number-one priority. Guests with certain body proportions, heights, or weights may not be able to enjoy certain rides if the safety restraints will not operate as designed. Specific ride information is available at the ride and at Guest Relations.
There is an inherent risk in participating in any amusement ride. We expect riders to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner. Guests must also obey all oral and written warnings and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Guests who do not comply with ride rules may be ejected from the park without refund. Please refer to specific guidelines posted at the entrance of every ride.
Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar devices are not allowed inside Six Flags parks.
Hurricane Harbor is a smoke-free park. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the park.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, Six Flags prohibits the operation or use of any unmanned aerial vehicle on, from, or above Six Flags’ premises absent specific written consent. This includes all UAVs, also commonly known as “drones,” regardless of their size, weight or purpose.
