All-American thrills are waiting for you at Six Flags Over Georgia as we celebrate Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M’S®, the most breathtaking 4th of July event in Atlanta in 2025! The night’s sky will be painted with bright and colorful lights while explosive sounds erupt in combination with patriotic music, creating an unforgettable show for all ages.
This is your opportunity to celebrate summer with all that Six Flags Over Georgia has to offer! You don’t have to wait until sundown to enjoy the thrills — fireworks aren’t the only thing blasting off this 4th of July! Georgia Gold Rusher promises to blow you away, Up, Up & Away offers pint-sized patriotic thrills, and the splashes at our on-site water park, Hurricane Harbor, are sure to keep you cool until the sun goes down and the dazzling lights fill the sky.
Fireworks and other special events and entertainment are scheduled for specific durations and times; all entertainment during Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M’S® is weather permitting and subject to change. Select rides may be scheduled to close early in preparation for the fireworks.

Celebrate 4th of July with a Premium Fireworks Party

After Hours Access
As a VIP party guest, you’ll have exclusive, after-hours access to all of the attractions inside Hurricane Harbor Atlanta.
- Water Park Attraction Hours: 6:00 PM – Dusk
All-You-Can-Eat Buffet
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet complete with your favorite summertime eats and treats.
- Buffet Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Menu: BBQ chicken legs, hot dogs, loaded potato salad, mac and cheese, watermelon salad, and more!
Premium Fireworks Viewing
After the sun sets, enjoy a premium view of our fireworks finale. Pull up a lounge chair in front of Calypso Bay Wave Pool and enjoy the show!

July 4 & 5 Chaperone Policy
We are committed to keeping Six Flags Over Georgia a place where thrill-seekers can enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment.
As part of that commitment, we are implementing chaperone policy during all park operating hours on July 4 and 5, 2025.
Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to or remain in the park. The policy will be in effect daily at park opening..
The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay.
Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government issued photo identification (Driver’s license, State Issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park.
Guests aged 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone when the Chaperone Policy is in effect will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Six Flags Over Georgia ticket and season passholders.
