Trabant

“Trabant” is the German word for “satellite,” which in English is defined as a natural body that revolves around a planet. The Trabant ride at Michigan’s Adventure sure fits the bill, as your natural body will be revolving around the ride’s center – plus doing lots of other crazy, out-of-this world motions.

The ride starts spinning on its platform, kind of like a mild-mannered carousel. Not so bad, you think. Then, the entire circular platform lifts up and tilts to the side. Then tilts to the other side, all along its axis, all while continuing to spin. Very fast. For you, this means several minutes of stomach-churning, adrenaline-pumping, absolutely awesomeness that you’ll want to ride again and again.
