Six Flags Friends is a series of programs throughout the Six Flags family of parks that make a difference in communities by encouraging local involvement, supporting the mission of various non-profit organizations and bringing the thrill of Six Flags to children and families across North America.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is also pleased to support more than 40 national and international worldwide conservation and research projects. As an accredited member of the Zoological Association of America and the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums, we support national initiatives and actively participate in conservation programs.
In addition, the park supports several Northern California organizations that make an impact in our surrounding neighborhoods. It is the work of the organizations below that truly make our cities a better place to live, work and enjoy.
Cal Trans Adopt-a-Street
Six Flags schedules street clean up days around the City of Vallejo, quarterly throughout the year. We love our community and any time we can help with the upkeep we are proud to do so.

California Parks and Recreation Society
Founded in 1946, the California Park & Recreation Society (CPRS) was established to provide park, recreation, leisure and community service professionals and interested citizens with the knowledge and resources to enhance their leadership role in creating community through people, parks and programs.
Vitalant Blood Donations
We host a number of blood drives throughout the year. Every donor will receive one complimentary ticket for donating. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is thrilled to be a part of saving lives!
Friday Night Live
Developed in 1984, Friday Night Live began as a pilot program dedicated to reducing the number of deaths and injuries caused by teen motorists driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. The primary focus of the FNL/CL/FNL Kids/FNL Mentoring Programs is to form youth/adult partnerships with young people, providing programs rich in opportunities and support, so young people will be less likely to engage in problem behaviors, more likely to achieve in school, and more likely to attend higher education or secure a full-time job.
Key Club
Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.
One Warm Coat
During the chilly months Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is listed as an official drop off location for winter coats in good to new condition. We collect and deliver to non-profit organizations around Solano County that accept coats.
United Cerebral Palsy
For more than 55 years, United Cerebral Palsy has been committed to change and progress for persons with disabilities. Founded in 1949, the national organization and its nationwide network of affiliates strive to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in every facet of society—from the Web to the workplace, from the classroom to the community. As one of the largest health charities in America, the mission of United Cerebral Palsy is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities through an affiliate network.
