Six Flags Friends is a series of programs throughout the Six Flags family of parks that make a difference in communities by encouraging local involvement, supporting the mission of various non-profit organizations and bringing the thrill of Six Flags to children and families across North America.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is also pleased to support national and international conservation organizations such as the International Elephant Foundation and its more than 40 worldwide conservation and research projects. As an accredited member of the California Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Zoological Association of America and the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums, we support national initiatives and actively participate in conservation programs.
In addition, the park supports several Northern California organizations that make an impact in our surrounding neighborhoods. It is the work of the organizations below that truly make our cities a better place to live, work and enjoy.

Friday Night Live
Developed in 1984, Friday Night Live began as a pilot program dedicated to reducing the number of deaths and injuries caused by teen motorists driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. The primary focus of the FNL/CL/FNL Kids/FNL Mentoring Programs is to form youth/adult partnerships with young people, providing programs rich in opportunities and support, so young people will be less likely to engage in problem behaviors, more likely to achieve in school, and more likely to attend higher education or secure a full-time job.
Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.
