It's a SPUD-TACULAR celebration of fried proportions! Since 1942, fresh-cut fries have been a mainstay at Cedar Point. They're a must-have for visitors from around the world, and now we've kicked them up a notch with new flavors to savor during the event.
During Happy Friar’s Fresh-Cut Fries Fest, limited-time creations will be available at our two fresh-cut fries locations: Hot Potato and Happy Friar. Make sure to “keep a fry out;” you may even catch an appearance of the Happy Friar himself!
Limited-Time Fresh-Cut Fries Creations
Barbacoa Fries
Fresh-cut fries topped with 13-hour smoked beef barbacoa from Cedar Point’s Miss Keat’s restaurant, picked red onions and queso.

Poutine Fries
Fresh-cut fries topped with fresh cheese curds and savory beef gravy.
Located at Happy Friar.
Brisket Burnt End Fries
Fresh-cut fries topped with bourbon-glazed brisket burnt ends and sweet drop peppers.
Located at Hot Potato.
Mike’s Hot Honey® Fries
Fresh-cut fries seasoned with Mike’s Hot Honey® seasoning and topped with fried cheese curds, sliced jalapeños and cayenne ranch.

“Frys” Get In Free!
To make this year’s celebration even more memorable, guests whose last name is Fry or a variation of the word will receive free single-day admission to Cedar Point during Happy Friar’s Fresh-Cut Fries Fest.
Eligible guests can present a valid government-issued photo ID at any Cedar Point entrance gate. Accepted last names include:

and other fry-adjacent variations.
