Introducing Memberships at Select Six Flags Parks

A new way to unlock unlimited thrills and splashes is here! Beginning June 8, guests at select parks can purchase Memberships — a flexible way to experience your favorite parks, paid through budget-friendly monthly installments after an initial payment.

Designed as an alternative to the traditional Season Pass, Memberships introduce a new, value-driven way to plan your visits throughout the year.

In 2026, Memberships will be available for the first time at:

  • Carowinds & Carolina Harbor — Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom — Allentown, Pennsylvania
  • Kings Dominion & Soak City — Doswell, Virginia
  • Kings Island & Soak City — Mason, Ohio
  • Knott’s Berry Farm & Knott’s Soak City — Buena Park, California
  • Schlitterbahn New Braunfels — New Braunfels, Texas

Like Season Passes, Memberships provide exclusive benefits and discounts. Plus, right now, all Gold Memberships include access to select Six Flags parks in your region. That means unlimited visits to multiple parks and unbeatable benefits, all for one low monthly price.

Memberships vs. Season Passes

While Memberships introduce a flexible new option, some guests may still prefer a Season Pass — either way, you’re getting unlimited visits and unforgettable memories. Continue reading as we answer your questions, explain the differences between a Membership and Season Pass, and ultimately help you decide which option is best for you.

How Does a Six Flags Membership Work?

Six Flags Memberships offer a flexible, subscription-style alternative to the traditional Season Pass — so instead of paying all at once, you can spread the cost across budget-friendly monthly payments after making an initial startup payment.

While Season Passes expire at the end of a specific operating season, new Memberships are active for a full 12 months after purchase, making them the perfect choice for guests who join mid-year. After 12 months, your Membership continues to provide park access and benefits for as long as you keep it active.

Bottom line: Six Flags Memberships make it easier than ever to get in the gate and onto your favorite rides and slides, thanks to a lower upfront cost.

How Does a Six Flags Season Pass Work?

A Season Pass is the classic way to enjoy unlimited visits at Six Flags parks — one purchase grants unlimited visits through the end of the calendar year. Note that your Season Pass will expire at the end of the calendar year in which it was purchased, and park operating seasons may vary.

Renewing for the next year is just as simple — renew your Season Pass (at a discounted rate compared to buying new) and continue enjoying unlimited visits.

Bottom line: Six Flags Season Passes are simple, one-time purchases that grant unlimited visits through the calendar year, making them a great option for guests buying at the beginning of the year.

Membership or Season Pass — Which to Choose?

Both Memberships and Season Passes are designed to maximize your fun while keeping things simple, convenient and cost-effective — the difference is about how you prefer to plan and pay.
