GreatFUL November at Six Flags Great Adventure: A Month of Heart, Community, and Giving Back
Every fall, Six Flags Great Adventure transforms into a place of bright colors, cooler temps, and family traditions. But this November, something even more meaningful has been unfolding inside the park — a month-long celebration of community, gratitude, and giving called GreatFUL November.
GreatFUL November isn’t just a campaign. It’s a reflection of who we are: a park that believes joy belongs to everyone, especially those who need it most.
A Season of Giving, Powered by Our Community
Throughout the month, Great Adventure partnered with organizations that make a measurable difference for kids and families across New Jersey and beyond. From hospital partners to mentorship groups, these collaborations allowed us to create moments that mattered long after the gates closed.
This included ongoing support for:
- CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia)
- A Kid Again
- Big Brothers Big Sisters
- Local food pantries and community groups
- Regional nonprofits supporting children and families
By shining a light on these partners, we hoped to honor the incredible work they do every day — while giving our guests an easy way to support them, too.
Day of Giving: The Heart of GreatFUL November
The centerpiece of the month was our Day of Giving, one of the most heartfelt days in the park’s recent history.
On November 15, Great Adventure welcomed more than 2,700 children and family members for a carefree day filled with rides, smiles, and moments of pure joy. Families received exclusive ride time in Jr. Thrillseekers before the park opened, hot meals served by our Six Flags team, and a day free from the stressors they face daily.
For many families, it was their first time visiting an amusement park — and for all of us, it was a powerful reminder of why our work matters.
Community Drives Us
GreatFUL November also highlighted how our teams show up for the communities we’re a part of, even beyond the park gates.
Whether hosting events, supporting charitable drives, or creating opportunities for families who might otherwise never experience the park, Great Adventure’s goal is simple: to be a place where community thrives.
Our team members embraced the season with pride — from volunteering, to hosting partners onsite, to ensuring every guest felt welcomed and valued.
