From time to time, rides and attractions require adjustments specific to their individual design. In 2025, we debuted a new type of thrill: Georgia Gold Rusher. This first-of-its-kind, free-spinning coaster provides a combination of high speeds, hills, 360-degree views and exciting water features.
To improve the ride’s performance, availability and reliability, the manufacturer will be making enhancements to the ride’s vehicle. Unfortunately, these enhancements will not be complete until the 2027 season.
We know our guests are excited to experience this roller coaster, and we share your disappointment that we are not able to open it this year. However, we believe the manufacturer’s enhancements will allow us to deliver the consistent and reliable ride experience that our guests deserve.
We thank you for your patience and we’ll share more information on its 2027 reopening as it becomes available.
