It’s March and the sports brackets are back. And this time… it’s all about coasters! This spring, Ohio’s most iconic parks, Cedar Point and Kings Island, are facing off in a social media showdown to determine one thing: which park has the ultimate fan-favorite coaster!
Welcome to the Ohio Thrill Throwdown, a bracket-style competition where iconic rides from both parks go head-to-head and you decide the winner! The best part? You can visit both and ride them all with a 2026 Gold Midwest Regional Pass. With updated benefits and an entire region of thrills to explore in 2026, you’ll feel like a winner all season long.
Round one voting kicks off on Wednesday, March 18 with a 16-ride bracket matchup, pairing similar coasters from both parks. Each matchup will go live on both park’s Facebook and Instagram channels the following Wednesday, and fans vote simply by commenting for their favorite ride. Come back each week to see the next round’s winners and cast your vote to see who becomes the Ohio Thrill Throwdown Champion!
