ArieForce One's Next Chapter Begins at Six Flags

Some roller coasters become rides. Others become legends.

We're excited to share that ArieForce One, one of the most celebrated roller coasters of the modern era, has officially joined the Six Flags family. The fan-favorite attraction will be relocated and reintroduced at a Six Flags park during the 2028 or 2029 season, giving guests a chance to experience an attraction that quickly earned a reputation as one of the world's premier thrill rides.

Built by Rocky Mountain Construction and originally opened at Fun Spot America Atlanta in 2023, ArieForce One became an instant sensation among coaster enthusiasts for its relentless pacing, powerful airtime and unforgettable ride experience.

"From the moment ArieForce One closed, we knew how much this coaster meant to the enthusiast community and to guests who made the journey to experience it," said Mark Pauls, Chief Operating Officer of Six Flags. "We're thrilled to preserve its legacy, invest in its future and bring this extraordinary attraction to a new generation of guests."

Named in honor of Fun Spot America founder John Arie Sr., the coaster was a passion project for the Arie family and quickly became a bucket-list destination for thrill-seekers.

“When we built ArieForce One, we wanted to create something truly special. Something that would put Fun Spot America on the map with coaster enthusiasts and families around the world and create memories that would last a lifetime,” said John Arie Jr, CEO of Fun Spot America. “Seeing ArieForce One preserved and finding a new home with Six Flags means a great deal to me and my family. Its story isn’t ending, it’s beginning a new chapter, and we are excited that future generations will get to experience ArieForce One.

The coaster enthusiast community has spent months wondering whether the attraction would be saved and where it would ultimately land. Today's announcement answers the first question while opening the door to another.

"Preservation is central to ACE's mission, so enthusiasts everywhere were hopeful this remarkable coaster would have a future beyond its original park," said Derek Perry, President-Elect of American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE).
