Game on at Cedar Point!

Yesterday, we put out this April Fool's Day post. If you're a super-fan of the games at Cedar Point, you were probably thinking, "quit playing games with my heart!" Cue up that one 90s song.

In truth, the main midway games will be getting refreshed in 2025. No aquarium, though, we promise.

When you visit us on Opening Day, May 3, 2025, you'll see 15 new games across the park. Let's review the updates by area.

Main Midway Games

Nine of the new games will be placed at Main Midway Games and near maXair. You'll notice a special difference about the games along the Main Midway - they won't have an operator! We're building a redemption center for you to tally your winnings or select a prize.

Here are a few names of the games: Bazooka Blast, Short Range Basketball, Clownin' Around Water Race, Balloon Bust and Whac-A-Mole.

Prizes will be interchangeable. You can win one game and choose a prize from another game. You can also accumulate your winnings to save up for bigger prizes!

maXair Games

Next, over at maXair, three new games will be added. Notable to this lineup is Gone Fishing, a seagull-themed fishing game and will render a winner every time!

Gemini Midway

Here's some nostalgia for you - remember Hy Stryker? I can still hear that oscillating sound effect in my head from when I was a kid. Two Hy Strykers will be returning to the Gemini Midway - one for kids, which will be a winner every time, and a test of strength for adults, a true game of skill.

Camp Snoopy

When you visit Camp Snoopy, you'll see Snoopy's Balloon Burst pop up on the midway near Woodstock Express. Kids can throw a bean bag and pop a balloon - winner every time! They'll love this one.
