All the Things To Do With Your Kids at Canada’s Wonderland This Summer

When school's out, the fun begins!

If you’re a mom, dad or grandparent looking for some amazing summer activities to do with the kids, we’ve got you covered. From June to Labour Day, Canada’s Wonderland has your rides, water park fun, live entertainment and special events to keep all members of the family busy, no matter their age.

Here’s the rundown to help you plan your summer. All events are included with admission. Can’t decide what to do? Consider getting a NEW Gold Membership, which gets you unlimited visits, so you can do it all!

Event: Celebration Canada at Canada’s Wonderland in Grande World Expo

June 1 to July 5

This annual event is dedicated to celebrating the best of Canada, with live bands, street performers, indigenous performances, interactive family activities and tons of great food and drinks. From noon to 9pm every day, food stations will be offering a variety of items like sticky Peameal Bacon Sliders, Canadian Classic Poutine, Nanaimo Bars, classic Butter Tarts and more!

Event: Fireworks at Canada’s Wonderland

July 1, 4, 11, 18, 25, August 2 (new additions!) and September 6

Think you've seen fireworks before? Think again. This summer, Canada’s Wonderland is lighting up the night sky with SEVEN spectacular fireworks shows! Experience more than 6,000 dazzling fireworks choreographed to an exclusive soundtrack as they light up the night from multiple launch locations throughout the park. With five shows in July alone, including four new Saturday night performances, there are more opportunities than ever to catch the magic.

Before the fireworks begin, soak in the excitement with thrilling fire divers, energetic street performers, and a festive atmosphere that makes every fireworks night unforgettable.

• TIP: If you’re looking for the ultimate experience, consider the VIP package that gets you unlimited hors d’oeuvres plus drinks at Lazy Bear Lodge, and prime seating with the best view in the house! Available online or in park at Lazy Bear Lodge – limited quantities available!
• TIP: If you'd rather sit on the grass, bring a blanket to sit on and scope out a spot around Windseeker or Lazy Bear Lodge by the water early on!
• TIP: Some of the big rides around the fireworks area will close down early these nights. Watch for signage in park and plan accordingly.

Show: New Show at Canterbury Theater: The Kings Banquet

Daily, June 27 to Sept. 7 (No shows on Wednesdays)

A grand royal feast is underway when treachery strikes - the King is poisoned by a shadowy sorcerer bent on reshaping history. Featuring the towering Wheel of Destiny, hypnotic fire jugglers, fearless sword swallowers, and breathtaking cirque acrobatics, this show blends danger, destiny, and spectacle into an unforgettable theatrical event.

• TIP: Arrive early to get a great seat. Stay a bit after the show to get a photo with the cast!

Show: New show at Arthur’s Bay: Watchtower

Daily, June 27 to Sept. 7 (No shows on Thursdays)

Wander over to catch this action-packed performance where a band of overly confident merrymen and women attempt to prove their bravery through outrageous feats of skill. What follows is a hilariously chaotic stunt dive spectacular featuring soaring trampoline aerials, jaw‑dropping high dives, and nerve‑testing slackline stunts - all punctuated by slapstick mishaps, comedic rivalries, and heroic poses that don’t always stick the landing.

• TIP: There are plenty of great vantage points around the Baye. Two areas offer steps for sitting - arrive early if you want to snag those!

Show: New show at International Showplace: Retrospect

Select dates, June 27 to Sept. 7 (Friday-Sunday & Holidays)

New this season, singers and dancers ignite International Showplace with an unforgettable show! This lively, interactive song-and-dance show keeps the energy going with a mix of today's hottest tracks and beloved throwback hits. Join in, sing along and don't be afraid to show off your best dance moves.

• TIP: Come early, settle into your seat and warm up those vocal cords—you're going to want to sing along.

Event: KidZfest

July 22-Aug 2, in KidZville

KidZfest returns this summer with even more family fun! From July 22 through August 2, little ones can meet their favourite characters from PAW Patrol™, SpongeBob SquarePants™ and Blue's Clues & You!™, join interactive dance parties, enjoy live performances from magicians and clowns, and experience a full day of kid-friendly rides, shows and entertainment. Stay tuned - more character appearances will be announced soon!

• TIP: Check dates and times of the meet n’ greets online in advance, to make sure your child gets to see his or her favourite!

Get on all the fun kid rides!

Beyond the events and shows, if your children are thrill-warriors in training, our two children's areas (Planet Snoopy and KidZville) have all the rides to help them work up their courage and have a great time doing it! The family launch coaster Snoopy’s Racing Railway is our newest addition and a fun coaster for kids and parents alike!

• TIP: Stop in at our height check stations on International Street to get a coloured wristband which designates which rides your child can go on. Forgot to get one? No problem, there are height markers at each ride you can check before they go on.

Cool off at Splash Works

Our 20-acre water park is open daily and is included with a Season Pass or admission. From the big slides like Muskoka Plunge, to the wave pool, Lazy River and splash stations, there’s something for everyone in our water park!

• TIP: Season Passholders get early entry to select attractions Splash Works at 10 a.m. every day.
