Tips for Family Fun

Over the years, we’ve learned a thing or two about making the most of a day at Six Flags. These tips will help ensure that you have a fun and memorable experience.

  1. Download our mobile app to review rides, restaurants, and the show schedule before your visit. Use our chat function on the website to get questions answered quickly!
  2. Plan to visit when attendance is lightest. Best bets: Spring weekends, summer weekdays, early Fright Fest weekends, and Holiday in the Park.
  3. Bring a jacket or sweatshirt for cool mornings and evenings.
  4. Six Flags St. Louis is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas only.
  5. Arrange a meeting place and time, in case your party becomes separated.
  6. Stop by Palace Rentals for stroller or wheelchair rentals. They are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan to arrive early.
  7. Review the park map to familiarize yourself with the park’s layout and help plan your day.
  8. Park map and guides, plus show schedules are available once you enter the park. Be sure to grab one to carry with you during your visit.
  9. Plan to start your day at attractions furthest from the main entrance. To avoid longer waits, plan to visit the most popular rides when the park first opens, or after 5 p.m.
  10. To save time, eat at non-traditional lunch and dinner hours.
  11. Make sure children feel comfortable with a ride before they board.
  12. Save time in Hurricane Harbor and arrive early or book a private cabana online before your visit.
