New in 2016
Fireball: Things will heat up in 2016 with the new Fireball looping thrill ride! Guests will experience a pure adrenaline rush as they go forward, backward and upside down. Fireball features a single loop that riders will soar back and forth in, pendulum style, as they build up speed to propel them head over heels. Traveling back to back in unique “face-off” seating, guests will rocket through a series of 360° revolutions stopping upside down for some insane, inverted hang time before reversing directions. The 7-story tall Fireball will be located in the Illinois section of the park and is set to open early May.
The New Revolution Virtual Reality Coaster on Ninja: This spring, we’re introducing a ground breaking new ride experience — the New Revolution Virtual Reality Coaster. On one of North America’s first dedicated Virtual Reality Roller Coasters, you’ll experience thrills like never before. In partnership with Samsung Gear VR and Oculus, Ninja will be equipped with wireless headsets that, while wearing, allow you enter a virtual world with high-resolution imagery and 360-degree views that synchronize to the action of the coaster. This changes everything! Opening late May.
Holiday In The Park: November 25 - January 1, the park will be transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of colorful lights, carolers performing classic yuletide favorites, personalized meet-and-greets with Santa and his helpers, and everyone's favorite Looney Tunes characters.
In addition to our amazing rides and water park, Six Flags St. Louis also offers spectacular shows and special events throughout the season that can be enjoyed with a 2016 Season Pass which is on sale now.
