Rage of the Gargoyles Virtual Reality Coaster
This Changes Everything - The Rage of the Gargoyles Invades Six Flags Over Georgia!
All new for Fright Fest - we’re introducing a ground-breaking new ride experience for the largest Fright Fest in park history – Rage of the Gargoyles Virtual Reality Coaster at Dare Devil Dive. On one of world's first fully interactive Virtual Reality Roller Coasters, you’ll experience thrills like never before. In partnership with Samsung Gear VR and Oculus, Dare Devil Dive will be equipped with wireless headsets that, while wearing, allow you to enter a virtual world with high-resolution imagery and 360-degree views that synchronize to the action of the coaster.
Once you board your Apache-style helicopter, you will feel the exhilaration of being towed to a launching location, turning on your thrusters and speeding through 90 degree drops, corkscrew twists and evasive turns through the city skylines at electrifying speeds of 50 MPH! Your mission - defeat all of the gargoyles that are attacking you before the mother gargoyles gets her revenge on you. You'll dip, twist and dive through a devastated cityscape, while you point your stun gun at the gargoyles flying at you.
The Rage of the Gargoyles is open on all Fright Fest evenings, beginning at 6 PM Saturday, September 24 through October 31.
