Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Announces July 23 Opening Date

Extensive New Safety Measures in Place

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor today announced that it will open for the 2020 season on July 23. In accordance with Governor Phil Murphy’s opening guidelines for waterparks, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will operate with reduced attendance levels and in preview mode; then gradually increase attendance levels throughout the month. The waterpark will operate Thursday through Monday, July 23 through August, plus select days in September.

JACKSON, N.J. ─ July 13, 2020 ─ The Six Flags Wild Safari’s animal care team is celebrating the birth of two rare Siberian tiger cubs. The fuzzy, playful female cubs were born April 25 to mom Nadya, who was raised in a unique litter that also included an African lion cub named Zuri when the two were abandoned at birth four years ago.

La Ronde Announces July 25 Opening Date

Extensive New Safety Measures in Place

La Ronde, Quebec’s leading destination for thrills and family entertainment, today announced that it will open with limited capacity beginning July 25, 2020. In accordance with Québec public health allowing businesses to reopen, the park will begin operating at reduced attendance levels and will operate in a preview mode July 25, 26 and 31, as well as August 1-2 for Members and Season Pass Holders only. The park will open to the general public beginning August 3.

Six Flags Announces July 3 Opening Date

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — June 26, 2020 — Six Flags America, DC’s Thrill Capital, today announced plans to open the theme park on July 3, 2020. In accordance with CDC, state, and local reopening guidelines, the park will operate at reduced attendance levels and in preview mode from July 1-2 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. During this preview phase, the park will only be open to Members and Season Pass Holders. The park will then open to all guests on July 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and gradually increase attendance levels over the next month. Hurricane Harbor will open at a later date.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Announces July 2 Reopening Date

Theme Park Will Reopen with a Return to Animals and Extensive New Safety Measures

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, the Thrill Capital of Northern California, today announced plans to reopen the theme park on July 2, 2020, one of the first to do so in the state. The opening date for Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord will be announced at a later time. In accordance with CDC, state, and local reopening guidelines, the park will reopen initially offering exclusively animal experiences, with no rides.

Six Flags Great Adventure Announces July 3 Opening Date

Extensive New Safety Measures in Place

Six Flags Great Adventure, the World’s Ultimate Thrill Park, today announced plans to open for the 2020 season. In accordance with Governor Phil Murphy’s opening guidelines for amusement parks, Six Flags Great Adventure will operate with reduced attendance levels and in preview mode beginning July 3. During this preview phase, the park will open to Members and Season Pass Holders exclusively July 3, and to the general public beginning July 4.
