Low Sensory Day at Six Flags New England

June 5

Join us for a special Low Sensory Day! While the park will still operate as normal and it is impossible to reduce all sights, smells, sounds, tastes, and touches, Six Flags New England will turn off park audio and will allow guests to enter our picnic area (normally reserved for special wrist banded events only) to chill outside of the normal hustle and bustle of the park.

This day is designed to create a more inclusive guest experience, especially for families, schools, and groups who may benefit from a quieter environment. Enjoy your favorite rides and attractions with reduced noise triggers, providing a more relaxed and calming atmosphere through the park.

Before your visit

  • Ensure your tickets and payment are settled to avoid waiting in line at the park entrance. For individual ticket sales, please purchase online here. For groups 15-99, please put in a request here. For 100+ groups, please put in a request for a sales representative to email you here
  • If you need ride accommodations, sign up for the Six Flags Attractions Access Program as soon as possible through the IBCCES website.
  • Review our Accessibility Guide here.
  • Review our park map to see where the picnic area is (follow the green line!) as well as potential meeting locations if your group gets separated. Access the park map here.
  • Prepare those who may be more sensitive to sensory issues. For example: walking in crowds of people, going through security, being in close contact with ticket takers, smells of food cooking, sounds of rides operating, sounds of people talking and screaming, weather changes, being in close contact with ride attendants, waiting in lines, etc.

On the day of your trip

  • Check in with your group to ensure everyone is aware of places to relax as well as meeting locations if your group splits up and needs to get together for a check-in.
  • Provide tickets for each participant and head to the ticket-takers and then security.
  • If you have signed up for the IBCCES Access Program, head to Guest Relations inside the park for assistance. Bring a digital or a physical copy of the card.
