8 Things to Try During Spring Break

Open daily beginning March 19

Whether you’re craving an adrenaline rush or simply looking to unwind with laughs, you’ll find everything you need for Spring Break at Six Flags Magic Mountain. We’ll be open daily at 10:30 a.m. beginning March 19 so you can celebrate your time off with the best entertainment in Southern California. Be sure to experience these eight activities to make this the best Spring Break ever.

1. Get an all-new Virtual Reality experience
This spring, we’re introducing North America's first Virtual Reality Roller Coaster. Using Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus, you’ll experience a completely immersive, 360 degree virtual reality adventure while riding The New Revolution. You’ll fly in a futurist fighter jet and engage in a battle to save the planet from an alien invasion. The virtual experience will be synchronized to the action of the coaster, so you’ll experience every twist, turn, and drop just like you would if you were in a real plane. A sneak peek will be offered to Season Pass Holders first.

2. View the world from 400 feet in the air
Get as far away from school as possible on one of the world’s tallest drop ride. Watch the ground disappear below your dangling feet as LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom takes you up 415 feet. Try to keep your eyes open to check out the amazing aerial views of the surrounding valley before plummeting back down with the spring breeze in your hair.

3. Celebrate the sunshine with a splash
While you’re enjoying the beautiful spring sunshine, you may need a quick cool-down. Jet Stream takes you on a scenic and tranquil flume ride through the wilderness. You’ll encounter a few splashy waves and a big soak waiting for you at the end.

4. Blast off to summer at 70 miles per hour
Summer will be here soon, and you’ll get there even quicker with a mind-numbing launch. Full Throttle propels you from 0 to 70 miles per hour on three separate launches – including one backwards. Race through more twists than you can count, plus zoom inside and outside of the world’s tallest vertical loop.

5. Bring out your inner child
Slow things down and take some time to unwind from fast-paced midterms. Tiny spring breakers and kids-at-heart will enjoy a charming spin around the renovated Grand Carousel. Hop on your favorite hand-carved horse and bob up and down to a gentle melody.

6. Beat the high score at a game booth
Enjoy some friendly competition with your buds as you participate in our skill games. Try to shoot some goals, pop a balloon, knock over a block, or land a ring around a bottle. You’ll have plenty of cool prizes to choose from when you win! Since we’re open every day, you have plenty of time to practice.

7. Enjoy some twisted fun
Have a twisted Spring Break with a ride on the world’s longest hybrid coaster. Twisted Colossus is a state-of-the-art marvel you won’t find anywhere else. Soar around over-banked turns, winding inversions, 18 airtime hills, and the western hemisphere’s first “High Five” element for an experience you’ll never forget.

8. Take a fast road trip
Hit the Six Flags speedway this vacation. Buckle into a Go-Kart and leave your homework in the dust as you whoosh off down the road. You’ll zoom around tight turns and rev your engine as you start every new lap. Race your friends to the finish line – loser buys funnel cakes!
