Five Extreme Heart-Pumping Adventures
Achieve new feats and fulfill your goals at Six Flags
What type of adventure have you always wanted to take? Some of the most popular desires can be completed at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Here are some thrilling ideas that you can fulfill on your next visit to the park.
1. Soar through the air.
Many people dream of skydiving or bungee jumping for the ultimate free-falling thrill. Dive Devil at Six Flags Magic Mountain will make your dreams a reality. You’ll be elevated to the top of a 15-story tower where you will pull the ripcord and dive from the top, plunging down at 60 miles per hour. You’ll have time to catch your breath, soaring over the crowd of onlookers as the cable swings side to side and dangles you free in the air. This is as close as you'll get to the real experience of skydiving or bungee jumping.
2. Raft the whitewater.
Experience an authentic whitewater adventure on Roaring Rapids. Our 12-person rafts float down a raging river, twisting and turning as you encounter rocky patches, wild waterfalls, and turbulent currents. You never know which way the untamed waves will twist your boat—just like any whitewater journey. These obstacles will make your drift unpredictable just like the experience of whitewater rafting on a river.
3. Conquer unimaginable heights.
Are you determined to see the world from the top? Here is your chance. It’s a long way down from the top of Goliath, one of the tallest and fastest coasters in the world, at an incredible 255 feet high. Not high enough for you? Then enjoy the view from the top of LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, the world’s tallest vertical drop ride. Both sides offer stunning views of the park and surrounding valley from 400 feet in the air, before you free fall back down at 85 mph. Or if you prefer a more passive, yet breath-taking experience, the iconic Sky Tower features spectacular panoramic views from the observation deck.
4. Flip head over heels through the air.
Trapeze artists aren’t the only ones who can flip through the air. X2 has 360° rotating seats and head-first, face down drops. X2 takes you on a journey to a unique and unchartered dimension of extreme only Six Flags Magic Mountain can deliver.
5. Race at 100 mph.
Do you have a need for speed? Unlike traditional coasters, SUPERMAN: Escape from Krypton blasts you at 100 mph backwards on a dual track that spans 900 feet and looms 415 feet in the air, forming a gigantic “L” shaped superstructure. Hang face first with a birds-eye-view before plummeting back down to earth.
