Suzy spent night after night entertaining guests with her tricks and illusions. She makes objects disappear, reappear, cut in half, and float in the air. She often selects volunteers from the audience to show how realness of the tricks. During one evening show, a group of skeptical friends sat in the front row. Suzy invited Mike up on stage to assist with an invisibility act. She put Mike in a large, empty red box and closed the curtain. She then lit the box on fire until a fireball exploded. After a cloud of smoke and a wave of his hands, Suzy opened the curtain to show that Mike was gone. The twist? He never reappeared! All that remained in the box were burned ashes. For her next trick, Suzy was going to cut Tracy in half. She placed her in a long box, closed the doors, and began pushing knives into the case and sawing through the box. Tracy screamed, but the audience assumed it was part of the act. When she opened the doors, Tracy lied there in two pieces. Her top half and bottom half were separated, but this was no illusion. Blood poured from the box and the lifeless woman sat on stage with a saw through her hip bone and a knife in her heart. For her final illusion, Peter agreed to levitate on stage. Suzy began waving his arms and Peter slowly began to rise into the air. First a few inches, then a few feet, and then he was floating up into the rafters. As Peter approached the ceiling, he begged Suzy to lower him before he reached the spinning vent fan. But Suzy was busy bowing to the audience, receiving praise for her show. Peter rose into the vent and the fan sliced in to his forehead, showering the stage and the audience in a downpour of blood. Audience members are often fooled by Suzys’ too-real-to-believe hypnosis. When she returns this year, you may want to keep your head down when she asks for a few volunteers from the audience.
