Park Policies

We are committed to keeping Six Flags Over Georgia a place where thrill-seekers can enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment. In order to ‘Protect the Fun,’ we expect all guests to abide by our Code of Conduct.

Additionally, certain park policies have been enacted to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Chaperone Policy
Six Flags Over Georgia continues to enforce a Chaperone Policy.

Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to or remain in the park. The policy will be in effect daily by 4:00 p.m. local time — Six Flags Over Georgia reserves the right to begin enforcing the Chaperone Policy earlier on any given day.

The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One chaperone may accompany no more than 10 guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay.

Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government issued photo identification (Driver’s license, State Issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park.

To view the full Chaperone Policy, please visit our Park Policies webpage.

Smoking Policy
We are committed to promoting a healthier, safer, and more welcoming environment where thrill-seekers of all ages come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences.

To support this commitment, we are implementing a smoke-free policy inside our theme park and water park beginning with the 2025 season.

Smoking will not be permitted inside the park, including e-cigarettes and vapes. A designated smoking area is available outside of the park’s security entrance. Six Flags prohibits smoking marijuana at any time, even in designated smoking areas.

Guest Safety, Accessibility & Rider Requirements

At Six Flags Over Georgia, the safety and well-being of our guests and associates is our highest priority.

To ensure a fun and safe experience, each ride and attraction has specific height and size restrictions, which can be found at the entrance of each ride or in the Guest Safety and Accessibility Guide. Additionally, accommodation information for guests with disabilities can also be found in this guide.

We work closely with the manufacturer of each of our rides, and our policies incorporate the manufacturers’ guidelines as well as the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We encourage guests to review the Guest Safety and Accommodation Guide prior to their visit to manage expectations, especially families with smaller children.
