Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Opens for 2019 Season
A Season Filled with Bigger, Better, Wetter Fun
ARLINGTON, Texas — May 3, 2019 — Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, the largest waterpark in North Texas, is kicking off another action-packed season of Bigger, Better, Wetter thrills for the entire family. As the number one destination for exhilarating water park rides and slides, opening day launches a summer of non-stop water-filled thrills starting this Saturday, May 4.
“Hurricane Harbor is an industry leader with best-in-class water slides and spectacular, interactive family,” said Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Operations Director Tyrone Taylor. “I’m excited to take on a new role of overseeing this park that has a rich heritage of providing the best water park thrills in North Texas.”
Hurricane Harbor offers guests more than 40 rides, slides, attractions and pools across a sprawling 47 acres with three million gallons of water. Families can enjoy the adventures of Splashwater Beach and Hook’s Lagoon or take a relaxing ride on the Lazy River. Experienced thrill seekers can take on Tsunami Surge, Typhoon Twister, and Wahoo Racer!
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor opens Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m. with the traditional flag presentation and lifeguard rally taking place at 10:15 a.m. The park is open weekends only through May 19. Daily operation begins Memorial Day weekend.
