We want your Six Flags Hurricane Harbor experience to be the best it can be. So we're always available to answer questions and listen to your suggestions. Visit us at the Guest Relations and our helpful staff will be happy to assist you with lodging and park information.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES
For information on services offered to guests with disabilities, please visit Guest Relations located in Buccaneer Village where, representatives will be happy to help personalize your visit. Please note that a mechanical hoist is available at the River Cruise and Lizard Lagoon to assist guests requiring special needs. The Forgotten Sea, Mr. Six's Splash Island and Castaway Cove have zero depth entries into the pools.
We strive to safely accommodate the needs of all guests including guests with disabilities. Safety and accessibility guidelines for certain rides and attractions have recently changed. Please view our Safety & Accessibility Guide for information regarding ride access, height and other physical restrictions, and Equal Access Passes. A copy of the guide is also available at Guest Relations.
There are no lost children at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, only lost parents. If your child becomes separated from your group, contact the nearest host/hostess or security officer for assistance, or visit Guest Relations. Before entering the park, be sure to instruct children to contact a host or hostess for assistance, should their parents become lost.
We regret that personal pages cannot be broadcast through the park, but you can leave messages for other members of your party at Guest Relations.
Your safety is our priority. All guests are required to pass through metal detectors and have their bags inspected. Inappropriate items should be left at home or in your car.
For your safety, certain rides may need to close during severe weather. Most restaurants and shops will remain open. Rides will re-open as soon as possible. Unfortunately, refunds and rain checks are not offered for inclement weather.
SIX FLAGS SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY NOTICE
Our goal is to safely accommodate the needs of all guests, including individuals with disabilities. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor provides wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles for rent at Guest Relations. For ease of use, the Forgotten Sea utilizes a zero-depth beach entry. Available in the Volleyball Pool and Basketball Pool, both located in Lizard Lagoon, as well as in the River Cruise, are transfer chairs which make these pools easily accessible for guests with mobility related disabilities. Also available in the Volleyball Pool and the River Cruise are hand rails which further ease pool access for our guests.
Trained service animals are welcome at our Six Flags Parks. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals. Miniature horses that have been individually trained to do or perform tasks for people with disabilities will qualify as service animals.
Service animals must be house broken and remain on a leash or harness and under the control of their handler at all times. Owners are responsible for disposing of their animal’s waste. Guests whose service animal demonstrates aggressive and/or annoying actions toward a Guest or Team Member will be directed to remove the animal from the park.
Service animals are welcome in most locations of the park. Our rides/attractions and pools are not equipped, or designed for, accessibility to service animals. Therefore, a member of your party must be available to stay with the animal while you ride. Park Team Members will not take responsibility for, or provide care to any service animal.
Further, the Park has service animal relief areas which are designated on the Park Map for the convenience of guest and their service animals.
