Beware the woods
As you cross the bridge into Yukon Territory you can smell the fresh cut pine trees and human flesh in the air. The land has been abandoned for years except for the last remaining lumberjacks that linger, awaiting their next victims. They know the territory better than anyone who dares to enter, so don’t bother hiding.
Everyone knows people start to change when they are left alone too long, and out in these woods being alone starts to change you fast. These lumberjacks have lost their minds but not their chainsaws, which are always sharp enough to cut through bone. They have nothing left to cut down, nothing left to do except wait for the next lone tourist. Running might be the only way to survive these disturbed souls. If you’re not quick enough you might end up on the chopping block.
Remember, if you hear “Timber”…it’s already too late.
What do you think?
