SFGD Safari

Safari Off Road Adventure is closed for the 2019 Season, we look forward to seeing you in 2020!

Boasting 1,200 animals from six continents including elephants, rhinos, tigers, giraffes and lions, Safari Off Road Adventure takes explorers on an exhilarating, interactive animal adventure. Guests can explore the most interesting and exotic creatures at a 350-acre preserve in Jackson, New Jersey. The journey begins in a rustic loading station in Frontier Adventures. Once you enter the park, turn left at the fountain and follow the blue line to start your expedition!

Skilled drivers transport guests off-road and within close proximity to the animals as they splash through ponds, climb hills and venture over rugged terrain. Throughout the excursion, informative guides will entertain you and answer questions providing a wildly interactive experience.

If Safari Off Road Adventure is on your must-do list, we recommend making it one of your first experiences of the day. Duration of the attraction is about 45 minutes, plus however long you choose to stay at Camp Aventura and experience the small animals. Due to the popularity of this attraction, wait times can be up to 2.5 hours on busy operating days. In addition, the line may close earlier than 5 p.m. to accommodate all of those already in line.
