Mardi Gras Festival

The music, flavors and culture of New Orleans are alive at Six Flags Fiesta Texas during Mardi Gras Festival.  Gather beads during our huge Mardi Gras Parade. Dare to explore The Houngan House of Voodoo. Feast on Cajun treats and drinks at the Taste of Mardi Gras Food Festival. Enjoy live jazz music, street entertainers, colorful décor along with all of your favorite rides.

Mardi Gras Parade

The Mardi Gras Festival lights up the streets of Rockville with colorful Mardi Gras floats. Costumed characters toss beads to onlookers who gather up these souvenirs as a reminder of their day. Street entertainers perform along side the parade as they escort the krewe through the park.

New Orleans-Style Entertainment

From live jazz at Teatro Fiesta to the song and dance spells cast by Voodoo Krewe in Spassburg, our New Orleans-style entertainment fills the air at the biggest Mardi Gras Festival in Texas! Dance to the music of The Big Easy Band and Maraicahi los Soberanos, or be captivated by the all-new Viva Carnivale! in the Streets of Los Festivales.

Taste of Mardi Gras

Always popular are the authentic food and drinks of Mardi Gras, including gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish, bacon-wrapped boudin balls, beignets, hurricanes, and a wide variety of beer.  The long list of treats also includes gator bites, bacon wrapped Cajun pork ribs, and praline cheesecake.

The Houngan House of Voodoo

A voodoo priest lures inquisitive guests through room-after-room of his cursed French Quarter shop filled with magical dolls, potions, charms and gris-gris. This voodoo-themed walk-thru attraction at the Mardi Gras Festival is included with park admission.

Certain rides, shows and attractions may be unavailable due to maintenance, weather conditions or other circumstances.

No full facial costume masks and/or coverings are permitted.

No props, accessories or any item perceived as weaponry are permitted.

Celebrate our heroes during Veterans & Military Appreciation Days at Six Flags Over Georgia on November 9, 10, 16, and 17! We are proud to offer FREE park admission for all Veterans and active military service members as a salute to their bravery and dedication.

In addition, each Veteran or military personnel can purchase up to four additional park tickets for friends and family for just $9.99 each, so you can enjoy a day of thrills and excitement with your loved ones!

To redeem your free park admission, simply visit the front entrance of the park on the day of your visit with valid identification.

Kick off your park day with Red, White, and Tunes, a patriotic cabaret featuring the beloved Looney Tunes and the singing of the national anthem—an uplifting start to your adventure!
