7 Things to Try During Spring Break
Open daily March 19-April 3
Whether you’re craving an adrenaline rush or simply looking to unwind with laughs, you’ll find everything you need for Spring Break at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. We’ll be open daily March 19 through April 3 so you can celebrate your time off with the best entertainment in Vallejo. Be sure to experience these seven activities to make this the best Spring Break ever.
1. View the world from 150 feet in the air
Get as far away from school as possible on our towering swing ride. Watch the city disappear below your dangling feet as the SkyScreamer takes you up 15 stories to swing around with the spring breeze in your hair. Try to keep your eyes open to check out the amazing aerial views of the entire Bay Area.
2. Enjoy the sunshine with a splash
While you’re enjoying the beautiful spring sunshine, you may need a quick cool-down. Tsunami Soaker puts you in the middle of a giant water battle. You’ll spray other riders while spinning around them, and everyone’s in for a big soak.
3. Blast off to summer at 70 miles per hour
Summer will be here soon, and you’ll get there even quicker with a mind-numbing launch. V2: Vertical Velocity propels you from 0 to 70 miles per hour in less than four seconds. Race through overbanked turns, vertical towers, and more twists than you can count.
4. Bring out your inner child
Slow things down and take some time to unwind from fast-paced midterms. Tiny spring breakers and kids-at-heart will enjoy a charming spin around the flying carousel, Wave Swinger. Choose your favorite swing and sail around the sky.
5. Beat the high score at a game booth
Enjoy some friendly competition with your buds as you participate in our skill games. Try to shoot some goals, pop a balloon, knock over a block, or land a ring around a bottle. You’ll have plenty of cool prizes to choose from when you win! Since we’re open for two weeks, you have plenty of time to practice.
6. Cause some Chaos
Spring Break is all about unpredictability, and Dare Devil Chaos Coaster provides nothing less. You’ll soar around a giant seven-story loop, racing backwards and forwards. You’ll unexpectedly change directions and you never know how long you’ll be hanging upside down.
7. Take a fast road trip
Hit the Six Flags speedway this vacation. Buckle into a Go-Kart and leave your homework in the dust as you whoosh off down the road. You’ll zoom around tight turns and rev your engine as you start every new lap. Race your friends to the finish line – loser buys funnel cakes!
