Black History Month Celebration

February 19th

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom’s first ever celebration in recognition of Black History Month. Guests are encouraged to visit on February 19, as the park hosts artists, performers, and businesses from the Black community to join in on the celebration. 

Six Flags Black History Month Celebration will feature:

  • Educational display showcasing some of the achievements and contributions made by the Black community in the United States;
  • Black owned businesses in partnership with the Solano County Black Chamber of Commerce; and
  • Performances by Black Students of California United, Heat Danceline, The Duniya Dance & Drum Company, and more.

PLUS, while supplies last we’ll be giving away custom Black History Month buttons. Be sure to arrive early to collect yours! 


  • 1:00pm – 1:15pm –Jaigo with BSCU 
  • 1:30pm – 1:50pm – Duniya Dance & Drum Company 
  • 2:00pm – 2:30pm – HEAT Danceline
  • 2:30pm – 2:50pm – Duniya Dance & Drum Company 
  • 3:00pm – 3:30pm – HEAT Danceline
  • 3:30pm – Spoken Word from Youth Speaks
