BOWIE, Md. — June 9, 2022 — Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor, D.C.’s Thrill Capital, is celebrating the start of summer with an all-new festival experience, Harbor Fest, Saturdays and Sundays June 11, 12, 17 and 18. Guests will enjoy an enhanced entertainment experience with authentic Polynesian dancers and beach bands, colorful and festive décor and a new, limited-time array of food offerings. Hurricane Harbor is now open and features 25 slides, an action river, three children’s water play areas and a massive 800,000 gallon Hurricane Bay wave pool. This season the park added all-new lush tropical landscaping, more deck chairs, benches and tables for added relaxation.

• Live Dancing, Entertainment & Music: Each weekend the park will showcase live music with interactive Polynesian dancers on Saturdays and beach cover bands on Sundays. Throughout the day the park will host bubble dance parties between performances to keep the island vibes going all day;
