This 2014 season the park will introduce a new Mardi Gras section of the park along with the addition of two exhilarating new rides. Ragin’ Cajun, a spinning, fast-track roller coaster, will be the theme park’s 9th roller coaster. Ragin’ Cajun will be joined by a new family-friendly, flying ride dubbed French Quarter Flyers. Both attractions will be located in the festive new Mardi Gras section of the park.

Guests will discover a celebration every day as snappy jazz and zydeco tunes pour into the streets of Mardi Gras. The entire area will be a party inspired by the energy of New Orleans with delicious foods, exciting games, tasty beverages and fun retail items to match the lively spirit of the South.

Six Flags America theme park features thrilling world-class roller coasters including hyper-coaster SUPERMAN: Ride of Steel, one of the tallest coasters on the East Coast; BATWING, Maryland's first flying coaster; and the classic wooden coaster Wild One.

There's excitement for every member of the family at Six Flags America. The park's family rides include THE PENGUIN's Blizzard River rapids ride and the traditional Tea Cups. Junior thrill seekers will love two exciting kids areas with pint-sized rides, special shows, and character greetings.

Hurricane Harbor features slides and splashing good times designed to help guests beat the heat. The exciting attractions at the free-with-admission water park include Hurricane Bay, one of the world's largest wave pools; the six-story funnel of fun Tornado; splishy-splashy kids areas, and much more.
