On the heels of its wildly successful inaugural event, the World’s Ultimate Thrill Park, Six Flags America, will host its second annual Thrill-A-Thon event on August 27, 2022. With exclusive ride time, catered meals, behind the scenes tours & more, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

To participate in this event, you must purchase a Thrill-A-Thon ticket & be an active member of one of the below approved roller coaster clubs or organizations:

Thrill-A-Thon 2022 Itinerary

Morning Exclusive Ride Time 

  • ERT on Nitro & Jersey Devil Coaster  from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Lunch With the Looney Tunes

  • Served from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, catering will be held in the Picnic Grove near CYBORG.
  • Guests will have the opportunity to interact & take photos with various Looney Tunes characters.
  • Lunch will be BBQ-style catering themed to Jersey Devil BBQ:
    • Pulled Pork
      • Rolls to make sandwiches
    • Bacon Wrapped Pork Kebabs
      • In Sweet Chili Sauce
    • Burgers
      • Will have the toppings available that guests can make both the Jersey Devil Burger and Hog Burger (Pepper Relish, Bacon Onion Marmalade)
    • BBQ Grilled Chicken Breast
    • Buffalo Chicken Wings
    • Amped up 4 Cheese Mac and Cheese
    • Baked Beans
    • Potato Salad
    • Cole Slaw
    • Garden Salad w/ Jalapeno Ranch Dressing 
    • Watermelon (for dessert)
    • Ice Cream Cups
    • Fountain Soda

Behind-The-Scenes Tours

  • Guests will be able to enjoy a full behind-the-scenes tour of Medusa & El Toro throughout the day from 12:00-4:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm.
  • Tours will be broken down into groups of 30, and will be designated by color of wristband.
  • Tours are first come, first serve, & will be assigned upon arrival.

Dinner with the Directors!

  • Served from 4:30 – 6:00 pm, catering will be held in the Picnic Grove near CYBORG.
  • Guests will have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with the director team of Six Flags Great Adventure.
  • Dinner will be Mexican style catering themed to Macho Nacho: 
    • Build your own Nachos with:
      • Chips, Cheese Sauce, Beef, Carnitas (Pork), Chicken, Black Beans
    • Build your own Fajitas with:
      • Flour Tortillas, Chicken, Steak, Carnitas (Pork), Shrimp, Peppers and Onions
    • Toppings Bar
      • Salsa, Pico De Gallo, Shredded Lettuce, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese Blend, Jalapenos, Guacamole, Hot Sauce
    • Churros (for dessert)
    • Ice Cream Cups
    • Fountain Soda

Raffles, Raffles & More Raffles!

  • Two separate raffles will be held throughout the day with some of the most elusive & randomly fun amusement park artifacts & collectibles to win!
    • Mid-day raffle will be held during lunch at 12:00 pm.
    • Evening raffle will be held during dinner at 5:00 pm.

Night Time Exclusive Ride Time 

  • ERT on El Toro with the Lights Out & Medusa from 9:00-10:00 pm.

Play Some Games, On Us!

  • Along with your admission, guests will also receive a $10.00 games card to use at any of our midway games, for a chance to win some super fun prizes!

NOTE: All scheduled times, rides & experiences are subject to weather & maintenance. Substitutions will be made whenever possible, but are not guaranteed.  Must be part of a roller coaster enthusiast club or a guest of a club member to attend.  Club members can bring up to four non-club members with them for this event.

Registration is a two-step process, MUST COMPLETE BOTH!

  • Step 1 – PURCHASE – Visit www.sixflags.com/greatadventure and enter the promo code issued by your club to purchase your package.
  • Step 2 – REGISTER – Once your tickets are purchased, club members must visit the registration link supplied by your coaster club to register yourself and your guests for the event.  

BOTH steps must be completed in order to be registered.

Check in for the event will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. on August 27, 2022, so don’t be late!  Six Flags Members & Season Pass holders MUST bring their Six Flags Membership or Season Pass card with them on the day of the event to be granted entry to the park.

Thrill-A-Thon Frequently Asked Questions

Who can register?

  • Current and active card members of a ride enthusiasts group may register for this event. You will be asked to present your membership card at time of check-in. Guests of enthusiast group members may be registered by that member, & must check-in with the card holding member.

If I am a Six Flags Member or Season Pass holder, which ticket should I purchase?

  • Members & Season Pass holders must purchase the Thrill-A-Thon Package for Members & Season Pass holders ticket, which will grant them access to the event, access to both ERT’s, the catering event & both raffles. Parking & park admission is included with your Six Flags Membership or Season Pass.  Six Flags Members & Season Pass holders MUST bring their Six Flags Membership or Season Pass card with them on the day of the event to be granted entry to the park.

If I am not a Six Flags Member or Season Pass holder, which ticket should I purchase?

  • Non Six Flags Members & Season Pass holders MUST purchase the Thrill-A-Thon Package for Non-Members & Non-Season Pass Holders ticket, which includes park admission, event admission, both ERT’s, both raffles, and the catering portion of the event.  Parking is NOT included & must be purchased separately.

If I am not a member of an enthusiast club, can I attend the event?

  • This event is geared towards enthusiast clubs, & the event code is shared with these clubs in order to be granted access to the tickets. Members of enthusiast clubs are allowed to bring up to four non club guests.

How long will check in be open?

  • Check in will begin at 9:00 a.m. & remain open until 11:30 a.m. on the morning of August, 27, 2022. Don’t miss it!

What time is the behind-the-scenes tour?

  • Due to the popularity of the event, we will be holding multiple tours throughout the day. Depending on your issued tour time, you will receive a colored bracelet along with a meeting place & time for your tour.
  • Space is limited, if you miss your scheduled tour time, we will not be able to fit you into another group.

How long will you sell event tickets?

  • SPACE IS LIMITED!  Ticket sales will be open/available for purchase until the event is sold out. So get your tickets ASAP!
