Six Flags America is dedicated to families and helping to unlock more inclusive guest experiences. Sensory Friendly Days, every Sunday through September 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. are inclusive, not exclusive park experience days. They are the perfect way to enjoy all the rides and slides you know and love, but at a time focused on reducing environmental triggers throughout the park.

All guests are welcome!

IBCCES & CERTIFIED AUTISM CENTERS™

Six Flags America is proud to be the first Certified Autism Center™ in the DMV, providing both resources and tools for guests living with Autism.

The Certified Autism Center accreditation is in partnership with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), the only credentialing organization providing this form of certification. As part of the program, guests now have access to trained park leadership and additional support elements. Specialty guides have been developed to highlight the various sensory impacts of each ride or attraction to help with planning a day at a Six Flags park.

Reduced park audio from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Quiet break areas throughout the park
Access to park rides

Delayed operation of select loud attractions (LOONEY TUNES Prop Warehouse, Whistlestop Train & Bourbon Street Fireball)
Quiet break areas throughout the park

Increased signage warning of severe environmental disruptors
