Fright Fest Auditions & Interviews
THE HIRING PROCESS
- Join one of our open audition dates or schedule an interview. Auditions will take place at the Six Flags America Human Resources building.
- IMPORTANT: Please bring two forms of I.D. Minors are required to complete and present a signed MD work permit.
- If selected for a position, complete the same-day onboarding paperwork.
- Complete required online “Discovery” training, in-person “Ghoul School” training and/or necessary department.
- Create the fear during this year’s Fright Fest at Six Flags America.
JOIN OUR SCREAM TEAM
Open Audition Dates:
- Friday, August 16, 23, 30 & September 6 — 4-8 p.m.
- Saturday, August 17, 24 31 & September 7 — 12-3 p.m.
- Sunday, August 18 & 25 — 12-3 p.m.
Be the fear during Fright Fest. We offer various places to scare, including several haunted houses and scare zones throughout the park.
Must be at least 16 years old. Please bring to your audition, water, clothing that is comfortable to move in, a resume if you have one. If auditioning for slider role please wear steel toe boots or sneakers that can be taped as well as proper sliding attire. IMPORTANT: Please bring two forms of I.D. Minors are required to complete and present a signed MD work permit.
SINGERS, DANCERS, ACTORS & MORE
Open Audition Dates:
- August 16 & 17, 3-4 p.m.
Six Flags America is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and high-energy singers and dancers to perform during Fright Fest & Kids BOO Fest! Your role is responsible for scheduled performances throughout the park.
Must be at least 18 years old. Please bring to your audition a printed copy of your headshot and resume. If auditioning for dance roles please wear comfortable clothes, water, and shoes to dance in. If auditioning for a speaking role please come prepared with a one-minute monologue. IMPORTANT: Please bring two forms of I.D.
SHOWS & HAUNTED HOUSES
Six Flags America is seeking an experienced, tech savvy individual to join our award winning Entertainment team! This position is responsible for providing tech support for entertainment venues including, but not limited to lighting, setup, wardrobe, pyro (laser) technology, and set construction.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
CREATE THE FEAR
Six Flags America is looking for Makeup Artists with experience in special effects make up, theatrical, fantasy, and character makeup, prosthetic painting and application, and airbrushing experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Please bring a professional portfolio to the audition. May be requested to demonstrate ability.
SEAMSTRESS' & TAILORS
Join our team to dress up the screams during Fright Fest by cutting, sewing, and performing alterations on specialty costumes and uniforms to keep our scare actors looking to die for!
Must be 18 years old of age. Prior Experience in sewing required. Will be responsible for care and maintenance of costumes. Distribute costumes and props.
SHOW SUPPORT
Do you want to be a part of the Fright Fest Team but maybe scaring guests isn’t your thing? Join our team of seasonal Theatre Ushers to work together to deliver exceptional service to our guests while they are watching the thrills on stage.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
LIQUID COURAGE
Six Flags America is seeking an outgoing and experienced bartender to join our Food & Beverage team! This position will be responsible for providing a Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe environment through the operation of a full-service alcoholic beverage location.
Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous bartending or food service experience.
