Six Flags Employees Take Day Off to Volunteer in Atlanta Community
Company to Commemorate Annual Day of Service on Friday,
November 11
As the roller coasters come to a stop and the smell of funnel cake leaves the air, Six Flags employees will bid farewell to the 2011 season by giving back to the community during Project 6, the company’s annual Day of Service.
Six Flags Over Georgia and White Water employees will take a break from their day-to-day duties and venture into the Atlanta community on Friday, November 11 to volunteer with five non-profit organizations:
• Compassion Atlanta Warehouse
• MedShare International
• Atlanta Day Shelter
• MUST Ministries
• C.A.M.P Ministries
“Project 6 is a special day for each and every employee here at
Six Flags Atlanta Properties,” said Melinda Ashcraft, Park President. “Through volunteering at these deserving non-profit organizations, we can give back to the community that has supported us over the past 44 years.”
Just in time for the holidays, Six Flags Over Georgia is offering a FREE 2012 season pass with the purchase of three or more. To make the deal even more affordable, guests can Buy Now, Pay Later and owe nothing until March 1, 2012.
