Six Flags White Water Opens May 23 for 25th Anniversary Season
Opening Day to launch
"25 Days of Splashing Around"
Rewind back to 1984 – the tacky swimsuits, big hair, stonewashed jeans and best of all: the opening of the Southeast's largest water park! It's been 25 years since Six Flags White Water first thrilled guests with an exciting array of water slides and attractions, and to commemorate this special season, the park will host "25 Days of Splashing Around." The Six Flags Friends Food Drive kicks off the celebration. Guests who donate five non–perishable food items may purchase a $25 main gate admission on Opening Day. Donations will benefit Must Ministries.
For 24 days thereafter, the park will host live bands, water slide competitions, family dining experiences and other special events and promotional offers.
"Six Flag White Water has established itself as must-see summer attraction for families," said Park President Melinda Ashcraft. "We're thrilled to open the gates for the 25th season and offer more value… more events…more flags…more fun!"
Guests can enjoy a full day of fun at the nation's "best-in-class private water park" with more than 20 rides and 40 slides. Thrill rides include Tornado, a six-story funnel that is sure to get the heart racing, and Cliffhanger, one of the tallest freefall water rides in the world. Six Flags White Water is also home to three interactive kiddie areas, where families and children of all ages can cool off during the hot summer days.
To enjoy the fun all season long, guests can purchase a Six Flags White Water Season Pass for only $59.99. Season Passes include a value-packed coupon book that offers three free tickets for friends and more than $200 in savings on in-park food and fun. The park will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from May 23 to Aug. 9 and weekends Aug. 15 through Sept. 13.
