FULL-TIME POSITIONS
Games & Attractions Manager
Role Summary:
Controls the overall operations, planning, policies, profit, expenses, and inventory of the games and attractions department. Additionally, the person should plan and implement long term growth strategies for the department.
Key Duties:
- Attend or conduct weekly, Bi-weekly or monthly staff meetings to inform and
discuss goals, strategies, etc.
- Analytical work on budgets, per capita, expenses, inventory, cost of sales,
monthly status, or weekly sales or status reports.
- Contract or meet with vendors/lessees/designers concerning problems, needs,
or future plans.
- Supervise full - time and seasonal staff performance
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures
- Train supervisors, leads, and hosts and hostesses
- Develop, supervise, and oversee incentive programs
- Oversee leased operations
Skills/Qualifications:
- College degree with emphasis in management preferred
- Three years as a full-time games and attractions supervisor or equivalent
preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Administrative skills, including excellent organization, budget control and
computer literacy
- Strong leadership skills
Food Service Supervisor
Role Summary:
Direct all Food-Service section activities. Provide training and supervision to Food Service Staff. Monitor food sales, cost of goods and inventory to assure profitability. Focus on Guest service and satisfaction.
Key Duties:
- Oversee daily operation of stands to maintain compliance with Six Flags, Food Service and County Health Department policies and procedures
- Assure profitability in assigned area by closely monitoring sales, cost of goods, inventory and sales techniques
- Schedule staffing and control labor expenditures for assigned area
- Provide on-going training and supervision for seasonal staff
- Ensure that all Hosts and Hostess are aware of and adhere to all Guest First standards and principles
- Develop and promote an entrepreneurial spirit by making recommendations targeting increased sales, profits and Guest service and satisfaction
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Serve-Safe Certification required
- Two or more years restaurant management experience, preferably in a multi-unit setting
