FULL-TIME POSITIONS
Safety/Risk Management Manager
Role Summary:
To provide overall leadership, direct supervision and objective direction for Safety/Risk Management & Medical Service.
Key Duties:
- Control Guest / Work comp claims
- Work directly with insurance companies to settle insurance/legal claims
- Enforce corporate safety risk/management guidelines and policies
- Conduct training as required by OSHA/ SF Policy guidelines
- Liaison between SFSL and outside agencies (Eureka FD, DNR, Fire Marshal etc…)
- Maintain staffing levels for the department
- Direct supervision of Safety/Risk Management & Medical Services Staff
- Maintain cost controls as it pertains to labor and materials for the department
- Provide a safe and secure environment for Guests and staff members
- Responsible for Park emergency procedures and training of management staff
- Provide appropriate disciplinary action when necessary
Skills/Qualifications:
- College degree with an emphasis in business management or risk management preferred
- 3-5 years supervisory experience in a safety/risk management background
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, organizational skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Medical background (paramedic/EMT) a plus
- Prior Theme Park experience a plus

MARKETING SUPERVISOR
Role Summary:
Position manages all aspects of the Attendance Tracking System, Guest Satisfaction Survey, and other key assigned marketing research activities. Position also assists with Public Relations and Promotions functions.
Key Duties:
- Responsible for all aspects of daily operation of the seasonal research team (recruiting, scheduling, training, monitoring performance, communicating and coaching team to deliver the correct amount of high quality information, and ensure that all staff members deliver Six Flags Guest Service standards).
- Analyze data, report findings, maintain accurate records and relay information to the park and Six Flags New York.
- Support any assigned research projects as needed including recruiting participants, organizing focus groups, facilitating research agency projects and personnel, etc.
- Assist with Public Relations functions including photography and park b-roll shoots, Ticket Donation Program, Character Appearance Program, writing press releases, pitching media, limited media interviews, coordination and execution of special events and production of park collateral materials and other related duties as assigned.
- Assist with Promotions functions including media promotional events, promotional marketing programs such as securing project bids, coordinating design of coupons and managing point-of-purchase materials and assist with media trade and other related duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in Research or related field preferred.
- Quantitative analysis experience and ability to interpret findings with a focus on actionable results.
- Solid computer and technical skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PDA's.
- Proven leadership skills, team-player.
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, be able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude.

Corporate Sales Representative
Role Summary:
Maximize park attendance from key geographic outer market territories, and assist in the development of a strategic marketing plan that has as its basis, dramatic business growth by geographic territory (Columbia/Jefferson City/Springfield, MO.)
Key Duties/Responsibilities::
- Maximize park attendance from key geographic outer market territories (candidates should reside in the vicinity of Columbia/Jefferson City, Mo.)
- Assist in the development of a strategic marketing plan that has as its basis, dramatic business growth by geographic territory.
- Responsible for all sales numbers as well as the continual growth of these sales numbers on a year to year basis as outlined by the Group Sales Director. These numbers are to be achieved through the selling of major ticket programs in both the corporate event, youth and consignment areas.
- Responsible for upholding all policies and procedures established by the corporate office as well as all standards established by Six Flags St. Louis, the Director of Marketing and the Group Sales Director.
- Develop and maintain business relationships in Western Missouri region.
- Extensive travel within each key marketing territory and other special destinations as required.
Skills.Qualifications:
- College degree with an emphasis in business or marketing preferred
- 2+ years experience in direct selling sales and/or promotions management (prefer experience in theme park or other entertainment/leisure activity company)
- Strong sales skills; creative thinking ability; aggressive attitude; professionalism
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Administrative skills, including excellent organization, budget control and computer literacy

Food Service Supervisor
Role Summary:
Direct all Food-Service section activities. Provide training and supervision to Food Service Staff. Monitor food sales, cost of goods and inventory to assure profitability. Focus on Guest service and satisfaction.
Key Duties:
- Oversee daily operation of stands to maintain compliance with Six Flags, Food Service and County Health Department policies and procedures
- Assure profitability in assigned area by closely monitoring sales, cost of goods, inventory and sales techniques
- Schedule staffing and control labor expenditures for assigned area
- Provide on-going training and supervision for seasonal staff
- Ensure that all Hosts and Hostess are aware of and adhere to all Guest First standards and principles

Description: Perform as costumed character. Assist other costumed characters into costumes and during on-stage appearances; escort other characters to appearance sites; maintain proper guest and character interaction.

Lifeguard
Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Shallow Water Lifeguards will guard water that is 5' or less in depth. Special Facilities Lifeguards will guard water that is greater than 5' deep including the Hurricane Bay Wave Pool. Provide a friendly, safe, efficient and clean aquatics facility, by effectively managing attractions and grounds. Actively guard all pools, activity areas and slide attractions per Six Flags and Ellis and Associates protocols. Achieve and maintain Ellis and Associates Lifeguard License. Adhere to all Ellis and Associates policies and procedures as taught by a licensed Ellis and Associates instructor through Six Flags. Help maintain cleanliness of park.
Skills required: Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Comfortable in and around water of all temperatures. Must be able to become licensed through the Jeff Ellis and Associates International Lifeguard Training Program. Able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
