A $20.13 Ticket, Coasters and Paintball Highlight the Opening
EUREKA, Mo — March 14, 2013 — Six Flags St. Louis, The Coaster Capital of Missouri kicks off another thrilling season on March 29 with a great ticket offer, a Coaster Capital Challenge and paintball! On March 29 and 30 only, the Theme Park is offering a $20.13 one-day ticket benefiting the local Salvation Army. For each $20.13 ticket purchased online, Six Flags will donate $1 to the local Salvation Army chapter. Guests can also receive this special price by bringing two, non-perishable canned food items to the park on opening weekend.
“We are excited about another great season at Six Flags St. Louis,” said Dave Roemer, park president. “We are bringing our guests more thrills and even more value in 2013 including a great ticket offer for opening day, a new xtreme experience in the park with the addition of paintball, and of course a new coaster experience – Boomerang, coming this summer.”
With eight thrilling coasters and our ninth coaster, Boomerang under construction, Six Flags St. Louis is The Coaster Capital of Missouri. In addition to getting a peek at the impressive lime green and bright orange structure going up in the Illinois section, guests will also have a chance to win a seat on Boomerang when it opens to the public on June 8. Guests are invited to take the Coaster Capital Challenge on March 29 and 30 by picking up a special game card in the park, riding all eight of our current coasters and then entering their completed card into a drawing. Fourteen guests will be chosen to bring a guest and be one of the first to ride Boomerang.
Paintball is coming to Six Flags St. Louis in 2013. Bushwackers paintball joins the park’s lineup of xtreme challenges with four fields that can take up to 100 players per session. Guests will have the choice of four different types of games including Capture the Flag, Center Flag, King of the Hill and Everyone for Themselves. The all-inclusive fee to play paintball includes paintballs, guns and protective wear. The playing fields will feature varying settings of open grass to wooded terrain with buildings, bunkers, facades, natural creek beds and retired Six Flags props and products. Six Flags and Bushwackers are offering an opening weekend special package of $20.13 for one hour of play with $1 of each package purchased donated to the local Salvation Army.
Six Flags St. Louis will be open Friday and Saturday of Easter weekend and each weekend through May 12 with daily operation beginning Saturday, May 18. Hurricane Harbor Water Park, which is free with theme park admission, opens for the season on Saturday, May 25. Guests can enjoy a season of thrills including the park’s nine roller coasters, live shows, concerts and Fright Fest with a 2013 Season Pass. For a limited time, with the purchase of four or more Season Passes at $52.99 (plus tax) each and when the passes are processed by June 2, guests will get one free Season Parking Pass. Season Pass holders also receive a coupon book featuring over $300 in special offers and admission to Six Flags theme parks throughout the country. Six Flags St. Louis also offers a Season Dining Pass which allows guests to pay once and eat two meals on every visit to the park. The meal vouchers are loaded right onto the guest’s Season Pass each visit and they can choose from a variety of restaurants and meals throughout the park.
