  • La Fiesta de Elitch Gardens   July 21 - July 22
    Guests get an up-close-and-personal look at some of the most tricked-out cars, trucks and bikes in Colorado. The event also features some of the hottest live Latin music of the course of the two-day festival.

    Don’t panic, but be afraid! Elitch Gardens  transforms from theme park to “scream” park all month long.  From haunted houses to a free Trick-or-Treat Trail, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

    One Good Turn to Benefit Another.   Spring Spin is a program designed to help non-profits raise additional funds for their organizations while offering ticket purchasers the best value of the Elitch Gardens Season.  For more information click here.


  • Spring Band, Orchestra and Choir Events   April 28 - May 25
    Music Students of all levels are invited to the Band, Orchestra, and Choir Fest 2007.  Music Festivals International has planned an exciting day of motivation, reward, learning and FUN.  The day starts with a non-competitive music education performance experience.  The adjudicators will critique your group on tape, and at the conclusion of your performance, will present the ensemble with a Gold, Silver or Bronze award plaque.  The remainder of the day is your to enjoy the park!  For more information, call 815-756-1263, or email MusicFestivals@aol.com.  April 28, May 5, 10, 12, 15, 16 - 19, 24, 25.

  • Outdoor Classroom   May 10
    Learning comes out of the classroom and into Elitch Gardens!  Outdoor Classroom is an interactive day of challenges and fun exercises provided for you and your students with the help of our partners in education.  Outdoor Classroom provides students with the opportunity to explore history and nature.  Exhibitors include The Denver Zoo, Museum of Nature and Science and many more.  To learn more, please call 303.595.4386 ext 162.


  • Physics Night   May 10
    What makes roller coasters move?  It’s Physics!  Through the University of Denver Department of Physics and Astronomy, the inside and upside down of physics is explored during the 17th Annual Physics Night.  Students’ grade 6-12 will test their knowledge on topics such as kinetic and potential energy, velocity and acceleration.

  • Mad Science Days   May 17 - May 18
    This exciting, live and interactive stage show gives young audiences members a chance to be sound mixers, lighting operators, cameramen, gaffers, special effect operators and of course, actors and directors on the set of a Hollywood movie!

    Over 1,000 Sport Stacking competitors converge at Elitch Gardens for the 1st Annual WSSA Rocky Mountain Sport Stacking championships.
